But the woman, fearing and trembling, knowing what had happened to her, came and fell down before Him and told Him the whole truth.

Mark 5.33

Because that woman told Jesus the whole truth, she was healed; she was declared a daughter of God and her soul was saved. In addition, she received God’s protection and the guarantee that her affliction would not return. The Word of God tells us: He who speaks truth declares righteousness, but a false witness, deceit (Proverbs 12.17). That is why the best thing to do before the Lord is to speak the whole truth.

Not only did that woman say she had felt from the Lord to touch Jesus’ garment, but also poured out her heart before Jesus; therefore, he was able to bless her. Cursed is he who does not pour out his heart and confess his sins, because he is allowing the enemy to act in his life.

King David said that blessed is the man to whom the Lord does not impute iniquity, and in whose spirit there is no deceit (Psalm 32.2). In addition, he said that when he kept silent, his bones grew old (v. 3). This happens to all those who hide their sins. It does not matter the price you pay, if you wish to be delivered from the hands of the devil, confess your transgressions to God. If you have harmed anyone, go to this person and get things right with her. The Most High does not approve of him who causes harm to another, or who cheats on his spouse, for example.

Jesus erased all these women’s transgressions and recognized that her faith was the foundation of her salvation. From then on, she was no longer tormented by evil spirits. The healing of the boy possessed by demons in Mark 9.17-27 shows that the father had to repent and cry to the Lord. If he had not cried, his son would not have been delivered from the evil spirits that tormented him.

Do not be deceived by the demon of shame. He who was offended has the right to know what type of person you were when you did such evil. If salvation has really come to your house, act like Zacchaeus, who promised to restore fourfold, if he had taken anything from anyone by false accusation (Luke 19.8). Due to his attitude, Jesus said that salvation had come to Zacchaeus’ house (v. 9).

After Jesus heard the whole truth, he made that woman a member of his family. She became daughter of God, therefore she would no longer act in a wrong manner, nor be afflicted by evil spirits. May the Lord fulfill this decree regarding you and may your faith grow to the point that you attain salvation! Not even the greatest shame makes up for your perdition.

From the moment when Jesus said: Go in peace, the woman was able to go anywhere, because the devil could no longer touch her. The demons could even plan something against her, but knowing that she was in God’s presence 24 hours per day, seven days a week, they would give up their evil schemes. She was forever delivered. What about you?

In Christ, with love,
