But as for me, my prayer is to You, o Lord, in the acceptable time; o God, in the multitude of Your mercy, hear me in the truth of Your salvation.  Psalm 69.13

Prayers must be only made to the Lord. If you pray to anyone else, you will miss the target and will be in a dangerous zone outside of His Word. Many people pray to people who served God while they were alive. Do not imitate this practice! This act is abominable to the Most High, because He does not share His glory with anyone (Is 42.8).

Any clamor must be made to God, in the name of Jesus, as Scriptures teach us. It must always be according to what we have learned that belongs to us. He who invents promises offends the Lord; it is like saying that He does not know about anything. We cannot create a method of worship, praise, or prayer, for Jesus said that He does not receive glory from men.

When the psalmist talks about an acceptable time of prayer, he means that when we learn about the will of God in Scriptures, we agree with it and submit completely to the Lord. Then, the time is appropriate for prayer. Thus, nothing will stop Him from listening to us. Praying just for praying is unfruitful, for God will not attend us if the prayer is not made with faith, which comes by listening to the Word (Rm 10.17).

When you intercede without feeling the divine presence, or without faith and conviction on the Word, the divine answer does not come. This is a religious attitude. However, when you feel faith moving you towards prayer, and you listen to God’s Word, it is easy to pray and receive His answer.

The Lord listens to us according to His greatness in forgiving, healing, delivering, and giving us His blessings. This means that you must cry out to a powerful God, who made promises and is pleased to fulfill them. Now, those who pray in the right manner never lose any battle, for the answer comes automatically. The truth is that the Most High wishes to answer us, but He will only do so if we act by faith in the Name of Jesus.

The Lord’s mercy is immeasurable; it is much greater than your needs. Therefore, even if your sin may be enormous, He will listen to you, for He wants to save and deliver those who approach Him in order to receive His mercy. Be honest when you cry out to Him. Do not hide your sins, and once you are forgiven, do not remain in sin.

Your requests must be made according to the truth of the Lord’s salvation. This means that the Word has been sent to you, like if you were the only person in the world. When we pray with faith, God answers our requests.

In Christ, with love,

Lord, our Trust! How good it is to pray in the acceptable time. If we do so, we will not be vainly speaking to the wind, but to You. Help us to pray in a way that You have the opportunity to bless us.

May we never pray like Pharisees or religious people, because they do not pay attention to Your Word. If we all did what pleases You, and listened to your teachings, we would never remain without an answer.

Listen to us according to the greatness of Your immeasurable mercy. We know that You will operate in our favor, according to the truth of Your salvation. Then, we will be able to enjoy greater blessings.
