23/06/2016 - THE ANGEL OF HIS PRESENCE SAVED THEM

In all their affliction He was afflicted, And the Angel of His Presence saved them;In His love and in His pity He redeemed them; And He bore them and carried them All the days of old.      Isaiah 63.9

The Lord´s companionship is constant and complete: it always comes to solve our problems. However, since we don’t pay attention to this fact, and many times, we don’t cry out for help, He becomes afflicted with our affliction. However, He would like to become happy with what He would do for us. We are choked by the deceitfulness of riches, by the cares of this world and the ambition for other things (Matt 13:22). 

God respects His rules, and because of this, even if something does us harm, and if we try to do it, He will not be able to prevent us from committing such error. He will only warn us about such thing. At the first sign of the enemy´s presence and his evils, we must cry out to the Omnipotent for Him to rescue us. 

The Most High forbid Adam from eating the forbidden fruit, but he already felt somewhat powerful enough to despise the Lord. Today, the same thing has happened. Therefore, a lot of people fall in sin and are separated from the Lord. All warning made by Him must receive our attention, for He would not say something that was not the truth. Believe: Hell is a real danger! 

The phrase: “He sent the Angel of His presence” means that the Lord was present with the children of Israel, as a celestial messenger, to save them and lead them to a happy ending. The Word that is used to warn you about an error has the presence of God. Therefore, to observe very carefully what was spoken to you is actually to respect Him. If you receive the warning, you will have pleased Him. 

The Israelites of the above story were saved by the love and compassion of God. The same way, if it was up to our righteousness, we would not receive the work from Above in our favor. But, when He uses these two attributes, nothing can stop Him. Every time the Word speaks to your heart, cling to the revelation as if you were hugging the Most High. 

Today, this promise is more alive and powerful than on the day it was proclaimed by Isaiah, because it talked about our time, where the Lord had already provided all things in order to receive us as His children. Now, there is nothing preventing the perfect work to be done in any person. Assume yourself in Christ and be a conqueror. 

We are redeemed, removed from the kingdom of darkness and driven by the power and wisdom of the Almighty, to a happy life, free and perfect in His presence. Don’t wait for a day where He will come and deliver us. At this very moment, we can and must use our authority and give an end to all work of the evil one.
