Let my vindication come from Your presence; let Your eyes look on the things that are upright.  Psalm 17.2

Every prayer that we make has the objective of obtaining the Lord’s answer, but it does not only happen because we ask for it. We must learn that God is not our employee, but he is the Lord. Thus, the declaration that we will say and will make evil leave must be made before the face of the Almighty – the revelation of His Word. Therefore, many times, we may obtain our desired blessing even faster than we think.

Without the revelation of what is written, our attitudes will be only religious rites, which are fruitless. When Jesus said that we would do nothing without Him, He was teaching us to act as He acted (Jo 15.5). If we do not follow His orientations, we will not succeed at all in our determinations with faith. The Son of God Himself explained that He operated according to what the Father revealed to Him, for He only did what He saw Him doing first (Jo 5.19).

Jesus explained that the words that He pronounced, which made the fallen ones stand, the sick to be healed, and the demons to be expelled, were given directly by the Father. In the same way, we must look to the Word, to His face, in order to receive the necessary enlightenment and faith. Those who are not attentive to the Scriptures will never find good (Prov 16.20). Now, the religious rituals do not have power in themselves.

For many days, the apostle Paul, when he left the city of Philippi to pray, was bothered with the demon that used a young woman to practice divination. When he and his group of workers passed by, she used to tell her audience that they were servants of God, who announced the way of salvation. However, one day, he became angry and rebuked that spirit, who left immediately (Acts 16.17,18). This “anger” is the Lord saying how things should be done; it is like being before His face.

The psalmist finishes the verse asking God to look on things that are upright. He understood that the things that the Lord revealed in the Word belonged to him, so he called them upright, reason, and property. Those who learn from the Lord what belongs to them in the revelation of His face – the Scriptures – will not act as a beggar any longer, but as an owner of an upright and righteous thing. Thus, go to the righteous Judge in order to claim that your petition might be attended with justice, and not as a favor.

Look what the Father tells you through Scriptures and do not waste such words, for whenever He informs you something, He grants dominion and possession. What God tells you can be compared to a house that someone gives you – if you fear the threat of robbers in the region, you will never live in that residence. Be always firm to demand what is yours, and after you pray, take hold of it. Even if you pray according to the Bible, if you do not take hold of the blessing, you will never have it.

God can only listen to justice. Therefore, do not ask for something that has not been given to you. He can only attend to your prayer, your definitive attitude of taking hold of what is yours. When you pray, do not use human arguments, but only the words of the Lord, and at last, believe that He would never ignore to fulfill what He was promised. It is your attitude that makes the revelation become real.

In Christ, with love,

Faithful God! Now we know what to do when we are before Your face. As we learn about Your will, our heart rejoices, and therefore, we can act as the owners of what has been told us. Thus, we are here to take hold of what You have revealed to us.

The divine healing is ours, for it has been bought by Jesus in the cross of Calvary, and surrendered to us, for You have said that by the wounds suffered with the roman whip by Your Son, we are healed. Thus, we demand all suffering to leave us.

In the Name of Jesus, I demand that all sickness, work of the demon, must leave now. I do not allow that any evil might continue in this life. I close the doors of the cells of this reader, in order for his problem not to be fed any longer, but destroyed.
