10/12/2016 - THE ARRIVAL OF THE KINGDOM OF GOD

But if I cast out demons with the finger of God, surely the kingdom of God has come upon you.   Luke 11:20

The Lord waited for thousands of years to bring and open His Kingdom to us, sending his only begotten Son (John 3:16). Hence, the preaching of the Gospel should not be like any other religion or philosophy; it must be taught with a showing of the Holy Spirit and the power of God.  Jesus gave us the example that we may follow and act like Him.  The one who uses any other method or model errs and will be punished.

Proving his great love for humanity, Christ enabled men to believe that they could enter into His domain. He showed that those possessed by a demon should not be considered ill and confined to institutions for treatment over extended periods of time – being it true that the majority never leave there.  We have the anointing to deliver the oppressed by filthy spirits just the same way the Lord used to do it.

The coming of Christ led the human being to be delivered from the devil’s empire that was installed on earth when Adam sinned; however in the churches there are still many believers who are still oppressed.  For this reason every so often we hear of completely wrong actions contrary to the ways of those who are saved. Alas, with no deliverance there can be no sanctification.

As we preach the Gospel – the Good News – we must remember that people can and must be delivered from the powers of darkness.  Those who refuse to act like Jesus are not serving the Lord. Then on that Day they will hear the Master say that he never knew them. (Matthew 7:23) To obey the commands of the Lord is the only way to be recognized by Him as a true servant.

Where there is no divine power made manifest, deliverance of the oppressed, healing of the sick, the Kingdom of God has not yet arrived.  Nobody can change the rules established by the Lord, for if this were possible, it would be like declaring that He doesn’t know how to act.  Mercy! Keep it in your heart that all disobedience will be punished strictly, to the point of Him saying, as was previously mentioned that he never knew those who didn’t obey Him.

Nobody can alter what was determined by the Creator and Lord of all: when the Kingdom arrives the demons are expelled.  We have the joy and the obligation to take to the lost the power that will deliver them from evil.  Whoever acts differently from the example given by Jesus does something else. Only he who announces the Kingdom of God and not his own, carries out the mission in a proper manner.

So do not be deceived, as it is mandatory: if the Kingdom arrives the demons do not leave willingly because they are good, but because they are evil they must be expelled and the doors closed to them. Likewise they can’t return to the lives that know the Truth and are freed by it. Blessed are those who do what God determined. (Psalm 1:1-2)
