Keep me as the apple of Your eye; Hide me under the shadow of Your wings. Psalm 17:8

In the Scriptures there are numerous promises by the Lord to His people to protect them from the evil one. The Almighty lead Jacob to understand that He would accompany him to protect him during the journey. Readily the patriarch asked for bread and for clothing. What else is necessary if God provides the food, His Word, the clothing of authority and wisdom from heaven? The Almighty is with you. Make your decision.

In the moments of communion with the Father, David knew that the best way to be protected from evil was as the apple of the eye. Immediately this was his plea! When you understand the Word, don’t hesitate to ask for that blessing in your life. God doesn’t say anything idly. When He admits us in His presence He doesn’t dismiss us empty-handed, but He satisfies our soul.  

If the Lord does not defend us, then all our efforts in this respect are useless. Of what use is it for anyone to wake up at the crack of dawn and work until late if God is not with them? If you are on bread and water and suffering, go back to the Almighty and receive the true nourishment. There are beloved of the Almighty and nothing lacks for them. The Lord loves those who keep His commandments and obey them. (John 14:21)

The Almighty’s protection over us is like the protection we exercise of our sight. As we see a threat or object approach our eyes we immediately close them, or cover them. In the Heavenly Mansions we will be made aware of so many things that were aimed against us but were deflected by the Omnipotent. It is good to know His declaration and promises in the Scriptures which refer to us.

Israel was preserved when God found them in the desert. Where God found his people, He cared for them. Follow this example and practice Your faith which is your best channel to God. Do not stray from the Word, as this is due to the lies of the devil to remove you from God’s presence. Don’t allow the plans to be changed, for the Almighty has purposed you to be a blessing.

The Creator can do everything for your life if you are taught by Him. So, claim your right to confirmation of what was told you. The devil can’t change what God has declared; after all, the Lord honors His word and takes pleasure in keeping His promises. Nothing from Him is powerless. Your victory is certain!

Under the Almighty’s wings you will never be attacked. Though the devil may try attacking you like breaking a damn, he will not prosper. As the Holy Spirit sees the devil coming at you, He will run to your side to help you. The Lord neither slumbers nor sleeps. He is worthy and good. Let Him rule your heart and be happy!
