24/10/2017 - THE BOLDNESS OF GOD´S MESSENGER

Then Moses said, “Thus says the LORD: ‘About midnight I will go out into the midst of Egypt. Exodus 11:4

The servants of God need to be bold in order to proclaim the divine message. Moses said that at midnight the Lord would go out into the midst of the Egyptian people to carry out His dreadful work. Every first born in Egypt would die, from Pharaoh´s child who already sat with him on the throne, to the most humble Egyptian, as well as the animals. Many were already married and had children, but, since they were the firstborn of their families, they would also die. Mercy!

The clamor would be enormous in the land of Egypt because of the death of those who were firstborn in each home. All families would go through this that very night. This event reminds of the Great Day, when Jesus will come back to Earth and, then, those who were not born again – therefore, away from fellowship with God – will be sent to eternal doom, from where they will never come out. Be careful not to get lost!

However, there would be no sorrow but only rejoicing in the houses of the Hebrews. The Israelites would leave slavery for freedom, towards the land flowing with milk and honey. The same thing will take place in the second coming of the Lord. The saved will enter the Kingdom which has been prepared for them since the foundation of the world, but those who don’t take up the salvation provided for them will be left out. Prepare yourself, for this will surely happen!

Moses said: But against none of the children of Israel shall a dog move its tongue, that you may know that the LORD does make a difference between the Egyptians and Israel. He told this to Pharaoh and to those who were before him. The servant of the Lord had to be bold because, most certainly, the devil tempted him to respect the presence of the king. However, he respected the presence of the true King that was with him. Never disrespect the One who is the Truth!

Pharaoh heard what he always tried to avoid listening to. Moses said that all of Pharaoh´s servants would come down to him and say: “Get out, and all the people who follow you.” And he added: “After that I will go out” (v.8). Then, he went out from Pharaoh in great anger. The message was given and there was nothing else to do. Likewise, one day, someone in some part of the world will preach the last sermon, they will make the last calling for salvation and the end will come.

The Most High had told Moses that the king would not listen, that His wonders might multiply in that nation. It was the most glorious day for the descendants of Abraham, for they would be set free. The Lord invites you to be a part of the people He is sanctifying and will live along with Him for all eternity. Do you accept this invitation or will you still postpone your decision? Be careful! Do it now!

Although Moses did all the wonders commanded by God before Pharaoh, the king simply did not believe. There are many readers who haven’t truly believed in the Lord. Those that deceive themselves deserve the eternal suffering they will go through!

In Christ, with love

Father! Moses learned to listen and obey You, that´s why even the servants of Pharaoh paid attention to him, because they saw that the work was done by You. But Pharaoh only bore him because of You power that worked under the word of Your servant.

The same thing will happen to us if we are following Your guidance: everything will obey us, even the insects. Use us for Your glory, carrying out Your beautiful work through us. Thus, we will please You. Thank You!

We pray for the lost that foolishly mock at the Truth. They don’t know what awaits for them in eternity. When You come back, they will become desperate when they hear that they will march straight to perdition. We cry out for Your love and compassion. Amen!
