30/10/2017 - THE CAUSE OF CONDEMNATION

It is not because of your righteousness or the uprightness of your heart that you go in to possess their land, but because of the wickedness of these nations that the LORD your God drives them out from before you, and that He may fulfill the word which the LORD swore to your fathers, to Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob.  Deuteronomy 9:5

For many people it is simply incomprehensible the way how God moved Palestine out from the nations that lived there and gave it to the Israelites. However, this sounds like a warning sign to those that don’t care about the divine warnings, for, just like those people that lived in that land – who did not live decently and because of that they were subverted -, those who give in to sin today will see they are heading straight to eternal condemnation when they finally open their eyes. 

During centuries the Lord God fought against the people that inhabited the land that was destined for Israel, so that they would convert and forsake the sinful life, but they did not want to do so. The individual does not have the right to disagree with the Creator, who is Almighty, love and complete in Himself. He knows what is good for man; however, just like it happens today, many people prefer to rebel themselves than respect the divine will. Their rebellion hands them over to the enemy. 

If you had the power to create something, it would be your property, isn’t that true? We belong to the Heavenly Father and because of that it is better to learn what He determined to be our behavior and fulfill these guidelines with all our strength and all our heart. The prohibitions the Most High established are for our own good and what He commands us to do is a blessing indeed. See how you have lived your life, for God is not playing or kidding when He speaks about the lake that burns with fire and brimstone. 

The Hebrews did not receive the Holy Land for something good they did, but because of the faithfulness of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob. By the way, we were also separated from God due to the sin of Adam, but Jesus paid the price of our salvation and if we believe in Him and accept Him as Lord and Savior, we will be saved. With the changing of your understanding, you will get to know the good, perfect and pleasing will of God. Don’t miss the opportunity to be freed from evil! 

Another important fact is to believe that the Lord will only bless you when you believe in the Word. This is the way we take hold of all that He offers us. The promises recorded in the Scriptures fulfill themselves because of the goodness and divine mercies in the life of those who put their faith in what He says in the Bible. Thus, we are healed, delivered and we prosper in all aspects. Simply believe in the Gospel in order to be blessed. Amen? 

This is the message to be preached to all people, for, otherwise, no one will be saved. There is a danger lurking around churches; sometimes, the name of a denomination is lifted up as the one who pleases God, but that is not true. The Church of the Lord is lifted by God Himself, when leading the lost to Jesus and speaking to their heart, giving them the gift of repentance. In the Gospel, you have a personal contact with the Lord only by the faith in Jesus. 

Don’t try to please the Most High by fulfilling the rules of any religion because that will simply not work. You must know the Truth – the Word of God – , thus, you will be saved.
