O LORD, the hope of Israel, All who forsake You shall be ashamed. “Those who depart from Me Shall be written in the earth, Because they have forsaken the LORD, The fountain of living waters. Jeremiah 17:13

The Lord is not only the hope of Israel but of His Church too.  All have to learn to love the Most High – to keep and guard His commandments – and so be blessed on Earth. Beyond this, after death, they will learn that their future will be bigger, better and much brighter than they could have dreamed, imagined or constructed. But as for those that abandon the Lord, poor souls, they will forever scream and cry out in agony, pain and suffering.  For your own good, don’t do this!

Have faith and believe: all the promises of the All-Powerful will be delivered in detail. No lie will ever be pronounced by His mouth.  Pay close attention to what catches your eyes when You read the Bible or hear someone preaching the Word. Within that which is revealed to you will be found the necessary instructions that are possible to follow in order to enjoy a blessed and decent life. God’s revelation is simply the best in every sense.

The trials and tribulations come to show us in Who we have believed and put our faith in.  Unfortunately, some were totally wrong because when facing trials they showed little or no faith at all in the Lord. How can one not believe in the Being who never lies and is Truth himself? If the trial is too difficult, don’t leave the presence of God under any circumstance.  At each temptation, show that your love for the Almighty is greater than the trial or temptation. He who falls hits the dust to be trampled under.

Those that turn their backs to the word of God will be put to shame at the judgment court of Christ. Certainly they didn’t just turn their backs by chance but they showed love for darkness more than for light as they surrendered to sinful practices. Pride of many who do not surrender to Truth lead these people to hide their sins but at the end of time these things will be revealed and heralded from the rooftops (Luke 12:3). Mercy!

The sentence of those that abandon the Heavenly Father begins to be applied in this life because of their attitude their name is written in the dust of the earth.  Woe is he who leaves the source of all good to beg in the realm of hate and suffering. Why stray from the Creator?  After all, God has a tremendous purposed plan for all who live; therefore, whoever abandons God will never know His plan for him. However if he returns in time, no doubt, he will be blessed.

Why abandon the Lord, the Fountain of living waters?  Where you will find peace, healing of weaknesses and power to defeat the hosts of evil? Today is the day to stop and to make a most sensible decision and return to the Almighty, who is merciful. He will receive you with open arms and will order that your garments be changed, shod your feet with power and place a ring of authority in your hands (Luke 15:22). Do you want to be excluded and lose out?

Those who do not abandon the inexhaustible Fountainhead of living waters can and may drink of it at will. Nevertheless it is necessary to want, to seek and to believe to be quenched and then, rivers of living waters will flow from within to raise many who are fallen (Isaiah 58:11). The Almighty expects you to make the right choice.
