01/10/2018 - THE CONDITION FOR ASKING IN PRAYER

If you abide in Me, and My words abide in you, you will ask what you desire, and it shall be done for you. John 15:7

It is possible to do the same works as Jesus or even greater as He himself declared (John 14:12), as long as the person lives in holiness and believes in God. It is necessary to be firm and steady in faith in Jesus and to not be recurrent in the practice of sin.  The Lord will help us to remain in Him and to keep His words in us.  Consequently we will experience one success after another.  

We must know that the Almighty is leading His work, not man.  The direction of our life, the tools and the ability – moves in Him who is perfect – come from Him for us to be used by Him.  The secret to success is handed to those who have a good purpose and follow what He teaches.  Flee from the lies of the enemy! Walk in the certainty that God will take you to the presence of the Savior.

We must be in Christ and His Word must be in us, for us to ask what we will and be granted.  Whoever is in the Lord does not deny the faith and does not retreat from the missions assigned by Him.  They may even cause us to suffer emotionally or physically, but we must never disobey His orders.  If we have our eyes fixed on Christ and His Word is in us we will never be disappointed. 

Submit your projects to the will of God.  Then all the pain, no matter how small, will be healed, as long as the heavenly Father is in command of your life.  The power from Above will follow the voice of the Word, bringing solution to the sufferings of those who place their faith in Jesus.  It is not the many requests and cries that move the hand of God; it is faith.

The object of divine work is to have the Father recognized as the Worker of prodigies.  Therefore, the heavenly power is ready to fulfill the work, so that God is glorified.  Nevertheless, the Most High will not be exalted in deception or lack of faith in Him.  You need not promise anything to be blessed.  You must receive faith which comes from hearing the Word, and apply it.

So that the Most High can be magnified and exalted we must bear fruit.  Nothing is gained by simply mentioning the Name of Jesus in prayer, as many so do.  The faithful must be secure in Christ and the Word must be established in him.  The biblical text reminds us what God will do.  Repeating “God be glorified!” or “Halleluiah!” will not make Him bless you.  Faith will make your prayer be answered and the Lord be praised!

Be in the Son of God and He will be in you.  Then you will perceive what God has done and with a simple prayer you will see His power work and fulfill that which you need.  Act under the command of the Lord, and what you determine will be done instantly.  This is how the successful in faith are blessed.
