28/10/2017 - THE DAY OF THE LORD´S FULFILLMENT

Then God saw everything that He had made, and indeed it was very good. So the evening and the morning were the sixth day.   Genesis 1.31

God´s dream began to be executed out of nothing. He did what His heart had planned. The cells of every plant, animal and man were the outcome of the action of an expert Artist, which put them together and defined how they would work. All creation was made to perfection in the smallest details. Thus, in the end, when He carried out a quality control examination, the Almighty was completely fulfilled. 

Everything was done by Jesus, the Word, which is why He is qualified to correct any error, from the healing of emotions, diseases in the body or the evils of the spirit. Failing to consult the Word, which is the Lord Jesus Himself, is to err completely. The One who was able to create all things and still place in them the power of reproduction, according to each species, can fix whatever is necessary. 

At each word proclaimed by God, that which would be useful to man was formed – masterpiece of His hands -, which was formed later. On the first day, light came; on the second day, He said let there be a firmament in the midst of the waters; on the third day, God said, let the waters under the heavens be gathered together into one place, and let the dry land appear; on the fourth day, the sun, the light and the starts were created; on the fifth day, birds and fishes and, on the sixth day, the animals. 

With the entire environment ready for human being to live in, God called on the others beings equal to Him in order to create man. It seems like the project of the one who would be in Their image and likeness was a bit complex, since the three people of the Trinity got to work and put their hands on the dirt and created a being just like Them. In eternity, we will know in details what led the Most High to plan and execute our creation. 

After creating man, the Lord blessed him, commanding him to grow and multiply. It’s easy to understand that He wanted the earth filled with others like Him. We will also know in the Heavens why God decided to create mankind; in fact, we will become aware of more things, and we will even know Him like He knows us. Yes, we lost a lot when Adam fell, but, through the sacrifice of Jesus on Calvary, we are now called sons and heirs of God. 

When He had finished bringing to life what He had proposed, the Lord checked everything He had done and gave His approval. He saw that everything was good, including man. It was impossible to say that something came out weak or with an imperfection. The defects came only after sin, when the destroyer came into the world. 

The beautiful thing is that God fulfilled Himself in all that He did. Today, when He calls us to belong to His Kingdom, forgiving our sins and giving us a new birth, in which we are recreated in Christ, the Most High wants to fulfill Himself in the new creation. Submit yourself to Him fully and you will see that He has called you to take part of His glory and His power.
