Like servants waiting for their master to return from a wedding banquet, so that when he comes and knocks they can immediately open the door for him. Luke 12.36

The Bible speaks much about the door. The verse for today is about the door of your heart, which is the entrance for Jesus to visit you. If you let Him in, he will show you what is wrong and what you need to do in order not to let the enemy attack you and let the divine grace act in your life and through you. The Lord has good plans for you in this life.

One secret reveled in this verse is to always wait for the Lord. Don’t let yourself be led by the flesh because it makes you fall asleep and when you least expect, your opportunity to receive the Creator of Heaven and Earth, the One who has all power, will go away. The people of Israel didn’t understand His visiting time, so they lost good moments in which they could have been extremely happy.

Wait for Him because He wants to come in your house. You should never miss out on the opportunity of welcoming Him. When He is at home, you can speak about everything you want to, tell him about your struggles, fails, success and be offered the wisest direction to every single situation. The fellowship with the Lord should be sought above all things.

Don’t doubt because he always knocks at the door (Rev 3.20). Wait for his touch, for it may be soft and only you will feel it. You will realize He is the one who knocks because he is not a God of disorder (1Cor 14.33). The enemy cannot imitate the Lord´s sign God, even if he tries really hard, because he does not have the divine grace. Only Jesus can touch us in the right manner and when he does so, we are overwhelmed with joy.

It’s important not to take long to open the door because He comes at the appropriate time and preventing his entrance is the worst thing you can ever do. This touch can be through a verse that calls your attention, by hearing the preaching of the Word or someone’s testimony, as well as the lyric of an inspiring song. Although it is touching, not every emotion means that He is the one who is knocking. Open the door only for Jesus.

He promises to come in and eat with you (Rev 3.20); therefore, what else do you need? Receiving the right food, you will have the answer for your problem, the healing for your disease and the forgiveness for your sin. He will never visit you without a gift, something that will really be useful to you. When you feel he is knocking at the door, open it and when you feel you are full of happiness ask for and take possession of what He is offering you. Your happiness must be full.
