And He has put in his heart the ability to teach, in him and Aholiab the son of Ahisamach, of the tribe of Dan.

Exodus 35:34

Giving freely what we freely receive is a commandment (Matthew 10:8). Over the three years and six months period in which the Lord Jesus ministered here on earth, He had followers. This practice is old, considering that the prophets also had their “schools”. In fact, the good servants of God are concerned with passing on the knowledge they receive from the Lord; after all, when the Almighty puts in our heart the ability to teach, we have no excuses but to heed His guidance.

The truth of the Gospel did not come to turn us into an “island” of prosperity, health and other blessings, leaving other people at the mercy of fate. The Lord teaches us the secrets of eternal success so that we teach others too. He who is illuminated has an obligation to pass on to others what he has learned. Under no circumstances or pretense should we do it for a price.

Wherever He ministered, Jesus took His disciples with Him. From what they heard or saw through the daily ministrations of the Master, they learned to do God’s work. After Christ’s departure they continued to do the work the way they saw Jesus doing it. Therefore, it behooves us, as disciples of the Savior, to learn and practice this lesson.

If all the orders given by an authority must be obeyed and enforced, let alone the ones issued by Jesus. Christ commanded us to teach all the things He had taught us. If we don’t comply with that command, we are in rebellion and thus out of His protection. On the other hand, when we accomplish our mission we rejoice the Lord’s heart. Well, the joy of the Lord is our strength (Nehemiah 8:10), but if He is saddened by us, we will not have anything but weakness.

The Word says that Bezalel’s heart was willing to teach because the Lord had put this desire in his heart. If he had not done that, He would not have excuses to say he didn’t get the message. God teaches us in the same way today and if we don’t listen to Him we will be in blatant defiance. What will we do with our mission on Judgment Day? So do that which the Lord commissioned you to do.

Evil is he who learns the secret to achieving the divine blessings but does not teach it to others. However, if we teach God’s way to the newborn in faith, he will be successful in his life and in the future he will do the same to the generation that will come after him.

If you regard the ministry of Jesus, you will see that it was divided into three parts: teaching, healing the sick and delivering the oppressed. Why don’t we do the same? Wouldn’t it be the reason why we have not obtained the answers that Christ did?

In Christ with love,
