24/09/2016 - THE ERROR OF AVOIDING MARRIAGE

God sets the solitary in families; He brings out those who are bound into prosperity; But the rebellious dwell in a dry land. Psalm 68:6

Soon after creating man, the Lord saw that it was not good for him to be alone and decided to make for him a reputable helper – someone who respected him, who was his other half and participate of his glory. However, in our days, the devil managed to in filtrate a feeling that is contrary to the divine plan; thus, many people are feeling better by themselves, and because of that, they don’t want to get married, which causes them to be in complete rebellion against the divine purpose. 

Some people don’t want to get married so they don’t have to share what they have with the spouse; others allowed some filthy spirit to enter their heart. Therefore, even their actions are contrary to what the Creator has planned. There are many reasons, however these people must be warned that they will not go unpunished on the Day of Reckoning. Not to answer and obey the Lord is to stand by the devil in his rebellion against divine will.

Hollywood and the media in general have reduced the marriage to sex, which, of course, if part of it, but it’s not the essence. Then, many people only seek to find their other half through this perspective, and therefore, many times, they cannot satisfy the lust of the eyes, and do not marry. Now, when a boy and a girl become adults, they are prepared to join in marriage. However, rebelliousness has prevailed even inside the church.

The Word says the judgment will Begin in the house of God (1 Peter 4:17), and those who don’t want to submit to the Scriptures will face many problems to explain the inexplicable: not having obeyed the Lord. Why is someone willing to take this risk, if they can solve such problem once and for all? Remember that on the Day of Judgment, there will be no compassion or forgiveness. Therefore, if you have been living in rebellion, get things right.  

God will make you live in a family. If you still haven’t found your other half, then talk to Him. The Lord will make you find the person that will be your joy. One of the purposes of marriage is the perpetuation of the specie, but some people deny doing it with the excuse that you can’t give a good education to children. This is nonsense! See what happened to Er and Onan, two sons of Judah, and don’t seek the same result (Genesis 38:7-10). Don’t frustrate the One who brought you to life to be a doer of His will. 

Many Christians must seek the pastors so that they may break the chains that keep them in rebellion against wedding and in some cases, even in filthy sin, which will lead them to experience the second death – eternal death (Revelation 21:8). You have absolutely no right whatsoever, to disrespect the plans of the Most High. Look at your options again, repent and seek forgiveness, for it is a fearful thing to fall in the hands of the living God (Hebrews 10:31). He will be relentless with those who are disobedient.

Those who chose to live according to their own will pay a high price because of this, for they live in a desert and, even if they are in the Gospel, if they attend a good church taking part of its membership, they dwell in a dry land amongst all type of harmful, pernicious and disgusting life. Thus, they don’t receive the faith they need to be healed and fulfilled in life.
