26/11/2014 - THE FORMULA OF FAILURE

A little sleep, a little slumber, a little folding of the hands to sleep. So shall your poverty come on you like a prowler, and your need like an armed man. Proverbs 6.10,11

A little sleep is everything that the devil wants you to have, for when you sleep in the faith, you are disconnected from the Kingdom of God and start living in the kingdom of passions, and consequently, of sufferings. The Lord only can enlighten you about your position in Christ once you wake up. When you disconnect yourself from God, you become vulnerable for the enemy’s attacks that will happen in all areas of your life, including your faith.

Many don’t sleep in the faith, but have some little slumbers. Once in a while, the devil puts in people dirty thoughts, of betrayal, and they get lost in their aberrations. He who lets himself be defeated by the enemy does not see any harm in a little slumber, for his eyes are tired. This happened to the disciples that could not watch with the Master not even for one hour (Mt 26.40). Strive not to be disconnected from the faith not even for a minute.

The moments of pleasure are necessary and blessed, but we should not stop using the power at our disposal to do the will of the Lord. When we cross our arms, we stop accomplishing the work of God, and we give the evil one some rest, in such a way that we can be contaminated. If there is something you must do, but it cannot be in the presence of the Most High, do not do it even for a fraction of a second.

Why lay down, if God wants us standing? It is evident that everything that we are talking about is not concerning the fair and necessary rest for our physical well-being, but our disconnection from the mission that was given to us. Why should you depart from He who is a Consuming Fire if He only brings you good and will never let the devil attack you? If we are in Jesus and His words in us, whatever we ask will be given to us.

Spiritual poverty is as harmful as material poverty. By sleeping, taking a nap, sitting and resting, a Christian sees himself without the capacity of acting in the Name of the Lord. Thus, whenever an attack comes from the evil one, he will not be able to resist. It is not difficult to live victoriously, but it is important to follow the instructions of our God who is the Creator of all things  in all their minimal details, and warns us.

We are made to be salt of the earth and the light of the world (Mt 5.13,14). In many lives, the salt has already lost its flavor and the light is dimming. That is why there are many people living in a way that is contrary to what the Lord determined. God told Abraham that he should be a blessing (Gn 12.2). As heirs of the patriarch of the Hebrews, we should also be a blessing for everyone.

Dedicate yourself to the Most High and have the testimony in your mouth. Then, you will see that life with Him is the best thing that can happen to you. The heavenly Father has made you strong, free, and fully able to accomplish the same things that Jesus did. You are to carry on the divine work, and not be a defeated miserable person.

In Christ, with love,

God, true Friend! How man lets himself be misled by the crafts of the enemy. Thus, he wastes the vigor of his youth and Your anointing. When he awakes, there is nothing more to do but to mourn. Wake them up, Father, all who are in the sleep of temptation.

Your Word says that You have pleasure in the prosperity of Your children. This was not said by someone who wanted to be nice, or did not have a commitment with the truth. It was Your Holy Spirit who moved the psalmist to declare this.

What is good is that You accomplish all Your words, and answer our prayers. Therefore, I am in Your presence begging for the sake of all my readers who have been deceived by the evil one. May they all start putting their faith into action in the Name of Jesus.
