25/10/2013 - THE GOOD MAN SHALL NOT BE CAST DOWN

The steps of a good man are ordered by the LORD, and He delights in his way. Though he fall, he shall not be utterly cast down; for the LORD upholds him with His hand.

Psalm 37:23-24

A good person is he who hears what the Lord speaks, for such individual is free from self-interest, is not swayed by temptations and respects the Almighty. The Father fulfills His promises joyfully in this person’s life. His or her decisions will always be guided by what he or she learns from the Word. Therefore, God delights in ordering their steps and their paths are a great joy to the Lord.

If the child who pleases God falls into transgression he will never be cast down for the Almighty will uphold him. None of the saved should sin, but unfortunately, some people do not watch or pray so when temptation comes, they do not notice the trap and end up falling into it. The devil excels in tempting the saved and almost always he creates a situation for the tempted person to think that he or she is not sinning.

If any of the Almighty’s sons or daughters gets sick, they should not get carried away by what the situation might seem to be. Their whole body may be weak, bruised and aching, all things can attest that they will not be healed, but that’s a lie. Our God, who is faithful to fulfill all His promises, assures us that our diseases were upon Jesus and by His stripes we are healed (Isaiah 53:5). So if you need healing, send evil out of your body now.

One of the causes that make people suffer is the lack of resources. Because of this, some people get depressed or lead a highly stressed life; some do not pray anymore nor care for themselves properly. However, the Lord God promised that if we obey His voice, we would be blessed financially, to the point of lending to a lot of people and we shall not borrow. (Deuteronomy 28:1-12). How about praying to Him right now?

No matter the trap you have fallen into and that caused you to get stuck in the enemy’s hands, for Jesus said He had been anointed by the Holy Spirit to set at liberty those who are oppressed (Luke 4:18), so it means He is at your side, with all His power, ready to set you free. There is nothing to fear or to accept beyond what God promises. Be firm and rid yourself of the snare of the fowler. The anointing that was on Jesus resides on His Holy Name.

The Almighty wants you to know that He is upholding you now. So, if you stand firm on the promises of the Lord, in Jesus’ name, casting the evil out of your life, your prayer will be honored. So do not leave it for later. At this very moment, enter into God’s presence in the full assurance of faith to solve your problems (Hebrews 10:22). The Creator of all things is ready to do that which you ordain. So pray now!
