18/09/2017 - THE HONOR OF BEING SENT BY GOD

So the Lord said to Moses: “See, I have made you as God to Pharaoh, and Aaron your brother shall be your prophet. Exodus 7.1

The position of someone who speaks in God’s behalf is greater than what we imagine, for they act as the spokesman of Heaven. Therefore, he must be accepted and respected, but should not be proud as if he were superior to others. In fact, the true servants of the Lord – those who walk near Him – are known for being humble and friendly towards all. On the other hand, those who exalt themselves – considering they were ever servants someday – fall because of their boasted pride.

He who has a divine mission is under an anointing that cannot be despised. Besides, such a person should not be defamed. Saul sought to kill David, who had already been anointed king by Prophet Samuel. The first king of Israel was jealous of the chosen one of the Lord. Since he had been anointed king before the son of Jesse, he sought to destroy David. David did not dare to strike the anointed man of God, but waited for Him to do the work.

A Christian should behave with his spouse in the same way. God made two become one body, and there is an anointing from the Lord on this mystery. Even if the other party was betrayed, he needs to humble before the heavenly Father and wait for His decision. He cannot seek revenge or do harm to his other half, for if he belongs to Christ, the Spirit who inhabits in him belongs to God. It is necessary to lead the lost sinner to repentance. This is good!

Those who rise against the leadership of the church rebel against the anointing given by the Lord for those who are in front of the work. Consequently, they will see that they were used by the enemy, and therefore, opened themselves for the actions of the evil being. If you have any problem with those ahead of the church, pray, and do not let any evil spirit take hold of your heart, making you desire the place of he who fell in sin.

What God has in store for you will happen at the right time, for He does not arrive late or early. Be patient and wait for His action, which never fails. Those who trust in the Lord do not live seeking for new experiences. Since they fear Him, they trust that He will do whatever is necessary to fulfill them. Do not let yourself be deceived by the evil one. Be firm in the Most High. He is good, He knows how to do good, and He will certainly not forget you.

Although Miriam was the sister of Moses, she began a rebellion against him. She was the one who stood near the basket when the little boy was taken out of the waters. Afterwards, she participated actively in his ministry. However, when she saw him getting married to an African, she started speaking bad of her brother. Aaron was also contaminated and joined her. Then, Miriam became leprous and had to stay seven days outside of the camp, even after she had been forgiven (see Numbers 12). Those who speak bad of the servant of God accuse the Most High of negligence.

The All-Powerful will “feel the pain” of His anointed ones, for it will be like someone touched them the apple of His eyes. God placed Moses as lord over Pharaoh; whatever he decided would happen to Pharaoh. It is evident that he could not make any decision that he wished. After all, he was only lord over Pharaoh, and God was Lord over him

In Christ, with love,

God! There is so much madness and ungratefulness in people who were saved by someone You lifted up to preach the Gospel. They show that they have an evil character by attempting against the honor and position of Your servant. You are the avenger of the anointed ones!

It was useless for Saul to gather three thousand soldiers to kill David, since You had already said that he would be Saul’ substitute. In the same way, those who let themselves be led by the demon, despising the authority of those whom You have designated, will weep tomorrow.

It would be good if everyone lived in unity and without anyone rising against the ones You have separated for special missions. How will these people show up on the Day of Judgment? What excuses will they have if they have done evil and did not respect Your designation? Amen!
