He who disdains instruction despises his own soul, But he who heeds rebuke gets understanding. Proverbs 15: 32

We receive a great blessing from the Lord when He reprimands us for being away from His direction. Pride prevents many people from bowing before the Most High when they are warned. Now, He does this so that they will remain in His plan and not fall into the hands of the torturers. When you are exhorted by the Most High, thank Him and change your behavior because undoubtedly you were about to be destroyed.

With rebuke comes correction. God corrects us, because He does not want to see us in loss for all eternity, even though we are saved and we have the assurance to enter into His eternal Kingdom. The error comes softly, as if it was something nice, good and fair. But in the end, it shows up with the face of its boss, the devil. So what’s left is a lot of pain, remorse and suffering. Listen to what the Lord tells you and be delivered as fast as you can.

The Bible speaks of reward, which will help us greatly in eternal life. Although you do not understand what it means to be rewarded in the world of perfection, you must believe that it is a good thing, because otherwise God would not have promised us such a blessing. Live in order to enjoy all that God gives to those who are faithful and just. Work hard for eternal life, because this will undoubtedly be your best work here on earth.

The Word says that to reject correction is to belittle one’s own soul – to diminish your power, your value, and your virtue. And whoever does this is not well, because they are causing harm to themselves today and an infinitely greater one in the future. If the Lord speaks that way, it is the absolute truth. Thus, accept the correction so that your soul will be eternally blessed.

With rebuke comes the ability to receive understanding. Thus, you will become master of yourself and freed from the afflictions of the kingdom of darkness. The prophet Hosea asked the Lord the reason for His people to live badly, and the answer came: My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge (Hosea 4:6a). Knowledge brings understanding. When you understand who you are before God and the evil attacks, the devil cannot resist you (James 4:7).

Be alert to the guidance of the Most High so that you do not miss the chance to get right with Him and thus win your battles. He warns everyone whom He receives as His son. Otherwise, the saved would be treated as bastards. We are children, heirs of God and joint-heirs with Jesus; however, we have lived as beggars. The lack of understanding does not allow the divine power to operate effectively in your favor. Think about it!

Acquiring proper understanding is the outcome of the process of rebuke and correction. Then, filled with heavenly wisdom, we become the people God has always wanted us to be. Do not frustrate the Lord, because He has programmed you to be victorious, holy and mighty in His hands. Accept the corrections and your soul will be greatly blessed!

In Christ with love,

Lord, our Shepherd! It is good to be regard Your rebukes. Oftentimes, we open the door to the enemy without realizing it. But once we have Your direction, we can rethink our procedure and walk again in the light.

We cannot reject Your admonitions. If we are prisoners of the devil and his demons, we will be robbed of the promise, and will have our dreams and our happiness here and in eternity be destroyed.

We must heed the correction of our souls, so that we do not despise our importance nor suffer at the hands of the torturing spirits, who want to see us in suffering here and in eternity. Mercy, Father!
