Though your beginning was small, Yet your latter end would increase abundantly. Job 8.7

What was true for Job will also be true for those who fear the Lord and trust in His Word. It doesn’t matter what the person possesses to start the work the Lord has put in his hands, what matters is what the person is willing to do for His work. When the Lord calls us, we have the guarantee that He will use us as He promised. In fact, He will do the work in our favor; all we have to do is believe.

It doesn’t matter how far or how difficult the journey is. Those who walk in the divine direction will see that our Father is perfect. By calling you to be His collaborator, all He needs is somebody willing to be used by Him. Therefore, it doesn’t matter how big the work is in the beginning, because, after you learn how to be an instrument of God, He will give you new missions, and He will guide you in all of them.

What seems to be small in the eyes of men may be huge for the One who is preparing them. After going through “the school of the Holy Spirit”, you will do things that will surprise everyone in the world. We must always remember that He is Lord and, therefore, He will never be ashamed. All you need is faith in order to be used in the divine work.

Certainly, David had no idea that by taking care of his father’s small flock, he was being prepared to be the shepherd of Israel. By facing the lion and killing it, doing the same thing with the bear that wanted to devour one of the sheep he shepherd, he proved that he could lead his people. Therefore, there was not one time where he or his country lost during his reign. God knows how to prepare His warriors!

In the days of the son of Jesse, there was not one nation that managed to take a piece of land from the Israelites, because, with the shepherd that cared for their land, they fought and won every battle. Don’t ever reject a mission given by the Lord, because it will be a precious lesson where you will learn to use the resources from Heaven. After that, when you least expect, you will be rewarded.

Allow the Holy Spirit to prepare you for the battles. When you are ready, you will feel that your time has come. Don’t ever fear the enemy’s attack; but withstand the enemy, with faith in the Name of Jesus. The devil is full of trickery, but he will not resist the power that God gave you to defeat the forces of darkness. Be steadfast and remember: even though it seems that the enemy is winning, it will never happen.

Keep looking ahead, looking at what the Lord has told you in the Word. Then, although everything indicates that you will be defeated, don’t ever doubt for a second and don’t allow doubt to enter your heart. A Christian who is sent by the Omnipotent enters the battle in victory, because the One who is victorious goes ahead of him. He is a Man of War!
