For the LORD your God is He who goes with you, to fight for you against your enemies, to save you. 

Deuteronomy 20:4

Those who don’t take their spiritual life seriously are always being attacked by the enemy, and there’s nothing they can do about it. The truth is that we have a battle to fight against the powers of darkness that are sent by the devil. He tries everything he can to take us away from the presence of God. We can’t just close our eyes and say we wont do anything because the enemy doesn’t respect anyone. The secret is to be prepared, because he is always seeking to destroy us.

This preparation begins with the understanding we acquire from the Word of God. Each revelation contains the necessary power to fulfill each necessity we have. We should seek two things: to sanctify ourselves and to be holy. None of us can say that we don’t need to repent and seek freedom from temptations in the Lord. Today, our heavenly father offers us the opportunity to walk by His side (Lv. 20:7)

Those who know the Word of God don’t play around with sin. Sin is always knocking at our door to cause us to stumble (Gn. 4:7). That’s why we should fight against it, until it is completely defeated. This battle must be fought with dedication, determination and it will end when the sinful desires are completely defeated; this will only happen when Christ comes back to save us.

It is important to remember that everything we receive from the Lord comes by faith; therefore, those who don’t use faith or who leave things for later lose many battles. Jesus’ disciples lost many battles because they had little faith; that’s why it’s important to fight until our faith reaches a new level, when we can defeat the enemy’s strategies. Even if your weak spot is like a mountain, if you ordain it, evil shall leave (Mt. 17:20).

God accompanies those who believe in His promises. Those who believe in the Father do not pay attention to the threats the enemy is causing. When he tempts you, understand what he is trying to do and run to the Lord in prayer, telling Him everything that’s in your spirit; and with certainty, ordain the enemy to let go his hands from your life. Be firm, and the devil will run from you right now (James 4:7).

Evil has already been defeated; for the divine power to operate and destroy everything that belongs to the devil, only your words are necessary. Satan can’t rise up, because victory has been given to you. Those who belong to God defeat every attack from the evil one with a simple order in the name of Jesus.

The Almighty one wants to fight in your favor. What are you waiting for? If you have hidden sins, confess them immediately, for He is faithful and just to forgive you and to purify your heart from every injustice (1 Jo. 1:9). Then, rebuke all evil in the name of the Lord.
