02/04/2016 - THE LORD´S REBUKE

My son, do not despise the LORD’s discipline, and do not resent his rebuke, Proverbs 3.11

The whip of man are for those who walk in wickedness, so that some convert themselves and enjoy from the good things the Lord gives to His beloved ones. If the righteous one deviates and is not rebuked, they might think there is no problem in sinning; after all, since they are saved, they will not get lost anymore. However, that is not what the Bible teaches. Jesus was very clear when He said only those who persevere until the very end will be saved (Matthew 24:13).

The righteous are whipped with the rebuke of the Word, but only by the Most High. This takes place when they grow cold in faith or do their Christian task carelessly. Now, why does someone grow cold in faith, if it connects them to the Lord and makes their prayer be answered? The devil is just waiting for you to get tired of serving God for him to put his heavy burdens on you. Those who settle down in faith live badly.

If you are being rebuked by God, do not be frightened; this is how He does with His children. Those who don’t go through divine discipline are not recognized as a child of God, but as illegitimate (Heb 12:7,8). God acts this way in order to teach us to be victorious over all types of temptation. This is part of our training. Therefore, we have to submit ourselves to the lessons of the Holy Spirit.

Divine rebuke is for our benefit; without them, we will not be firm during tribulations. Now, the Almighty God cannot afford a child who shows himself timid before the enemy and who doesn’t use the weapons of righteousness that are available. When Ephraim turned back in the day of the battle, even though he was armed, he caused the Lord to be sad (Psalm 78:9). God has armed you for the battle and He wants to rejoice in your victory.

If you go back to sinning, something worse can happen to you, because the demon who is always looking to go back to his former house, will take with him seven other spirits more wicked than himself, and the last state of that man will be worse than the first (Matthew 12:45). The Father does not want His children in a worse state than before they were saved. The work He did in your favor must endure forever; therefore, prepare yourself to win and rule forever.

It is the Lord who rebukes the righteous when they slip in their faith. We can only admonish them, for the threat of a punishment, or a scolding with an ugly face, will not cause them to regenerate, but only the love of the Savior will. God knows how to handle with those who go away from the good Way and who enter the tortuous trails, where there is no more peace, just like it happened to Israel in the past (2 Chronicles 15:3-6). Those who answer reproach come back to communion.

Those who know how to pray must never ask for a person who is saved to experience the rigor of suffering and get things right. In truth, they need to cry out for this person to contemplate the glory of forgiveness and never fall again. Remember that the Lord´s flag upon is love. Thus, if we believe and use what He has given us, we will be successful in every possible way. The Lord is good in all things.

In Christ, with love,

Lord, the One who rebukes! We do not want to do evil. Today, we have learned that the righteous is rebuked only by You. Even if they fall, they will be held by Your arms, and when they rise up, they will give You many joys once again.

The wicked are afflicted by the whip of man, but the righteous who deviate must not suffer the same treatment. You will handle those who act correctly, but, for some reason, they have done what they shouldn’t. Mercy and love!

May the righteous who listened to the enemy stop and turn back to Your presence! If they continue in error, they will not persevere and will be lost forever. Treat them with Your love so that they come back to serve You.
