Turn at my rebuke; surely I will pour out my spirit on you;I will make my words known to you. Proverbs 1.23

The Lord’s main subject for man is repentance, for without it, it is impossible to have contact with the Most High. If your situation remains the same, when your last day comes, you will be forever separated from God. Everything has already been provided for the salvation of the human being, and whenever someone makes the right decision, his sins are forgiven, he is born again, and then, has the right to participate in everything that belongs to the faith in Jesus.

It is by the Lord’s rebuke that we manage to repent. Since then, sin acts in the life of the lost like a powerful lord, and even if he strives not to obey the tempter, he does not manage to get rid of the repeated temptations that come his way. However, when he is saved, his life changes completely, being deprived of the body of flesh (Cl 2.11) and the body of sin (Rom 6.6). The saved ones are always freed from the power of the enemy.

The verse talks about one of the greatest blessings that you can receive from God: the outpouring of the Holy Spirit. When it happens, all your being is involved by the presence of the Lord, and you become His son and you have authority over your own life. The Spirit is the One who gives you power to do the divine work, rebuke the demon, heal the sick, and solve your problems. This promise includes every human being.

The same Spirit that came upon Jesus after He was baptized by John the Baptist in the Jordan River also reaches he who is received in the divine family. The Spirit is given to you without measure to completely supply with the power you need to live with dignity. If you have not been filled with the Holy Spirit, the process of salvation has not yet been completed. Be careful! The Word declared that those who do not have the spirit of Christ do not belong to God (Rom 8.9).

As you receive the fullness of the Spirit, you obtain the capacity to know the Word of the Lord and become wise to walk in the good works that He prepares. As you know the Truth, you become freed from all the laces and operations of the kingdom of evil. Therefore, you must not submit any longer to the will of Satan; you must make the enemy run away with everything that belongs to him. This is how you will be completely freed.

The Holy Spirit does not do His own work, but Jesus’ work, having as a mission to glorify the Savior. The Word does not teach us to pray to the Holy Spirit, but to the Father. He is the spirit of Truth, and the Truth is the Word of the Lord. Thus, always submit to what is written, to what He will make you understand in Scriptures. If you do so, you will never be mistaken.

Make use of the divine promise that He will outpour His Spirit upon your life, for your happiness depends on it. Walking with Jesus is important and it happens for those who let themselves be rebuked and taught by the Lord. Your life can be filled with achievements, as it was with the lives of those who surrendered to God. Will you do so?

In Christ, with love,

God of the promise! How we need Your help so that we do not despise any of Your rebukes, for they will make our paths straight in life, will lead us to walk in the right direction, and will guide us to the promised outpouring of the Spirit. This is what we need.

You do not give Your Spirit with a measure, but You pour it abundantly. In the Scriptures, we discover what You have for us, we learn how to do Your will and what pleases You. Open our understanding to see what You have prepared for those who serve You.

May our lives, from now on, be consecrated more to Your service. May we never leave walking by Your side, but may we obey Your directions to always have You by our side. Our beloved God, to do Your will is what we most desire.
