28/04/2014 - THE MISERABLE END OF THE PERVERSE AND THE UNGODLY

Therefore the ungodly shall not stand in the judgment, nor sinners in the congregation of the righteous.  Psalm 1.5

If the perverse – people who do evil and are pleased in harming and despising others, plotting evil against people – and the ungodly – those who have no regard to what God says, but prefer to indulge themselves in lies and manipulation to obtain favor – paid attention to what end they will have, they would start acting differently.

There are moments in which we must stand in the judgment with the Lord against the evil that attacks us, such as an incurable illness, a family problem, a grave accident or a financial problem. If we go through these moments without the Almighty at our side, as our Defender, we will not be successful.

The ungodly never stand in the judgment, a situation in which God allows us to bring our adversary before Him so that we can be freed from what oppresses us. However, if by our own actions we have allowed evil to act, before standing in judgment, we must make things right with the Lord, confessing our mistake and assuming the forgiveness He grants us. Thus, with the divine help, we will be victorious.

In the judgment, the enemy will do everything he can to accuse us, and if we are not firm in the revelation of the Truth, it will not set us free (Jo 8.32). Therefore, never assume the ways of the ungodly, even if it seems more lucrative or pleasurable. The best thing is to trust in the Most High, giving Him the lordship of your life, instead of giving it to the demon of temptation. If you do so, you will never lose a cause before God.

Only those who were washed and redeemed by the blood of Jesus may enter the congregation of the righteous. However, many that have already entered, after some time, let themselves be taken by the enemy’s dirty and perverse ways. Some have done even worse things than the lost sinners. Anyway, they should be prepared, for they will not be in the congregation of the righteous, but will suffer bitterly an eternal loss.

Being so, why do you let yourself be driven by Satan’s lies if it is possible to live in the presence of the only God? Now, the Lord is Omnipotent and is Love at the same time. With Him, you will lack nothing and will be protected and kept safe from evil and its filthy and destroying arrows. This is a moment for reflection. Do you want to have the miserable end of the perverse and the ungodly, or do you want to live with Jesus forever?

So before it is too late, make the right decision: be a son that makes the Lord pleased. What is the use, for example, of having one or many lovers, if your end will be in the lake of fire? Why should you not honor what God has given you? The decision is yours.
