02/07/2017 - THE OPPRESSION DELIVERANCE PRAYER

Let not the foot of pride come against me, And let not the hand of the wicked drive me away. Psalm 36:11

Man was empowered to make decisions, change circumstances and establish his own course of life.  The devil envies man for this, because being created in the image and likeness of the Lord (Genesis 1:26) man is superior over the evil one. Before Satan deceived Adam, he already knew of man’s superiority ( Psalm 8:5,6 ). Due to this, he always invested heavily against man to usurp such a special privilege.

The persons given to be proud and vain do not chose and decide well and use their capacities to harm others. As they are in submission to the devil, they are used as agents or instruments to kill, steal and destroy. (John 10:10a).  Being under God, you can pray as the psalmist did. This way the enemy will be thwarted, frustrated and paralyzed, and you will be protected and delivered from his attacks. The vain person’s foot can’t hurt the saved.

Keep watch and pray that the desires and abilities of those that resist the Lord do not make you a victim. There are limits for everything and the evil one can’t touch or harm the one who is with God (1 John 5:18). Even if Hell should decide to make you suffer, it will not, for Heaven protects promptly those who are called in the Name of Jesus. Keep the faith that the Almighty will deliver and guard you completely.

The hand of one who has no respect for the presence of the Lord can remove the Christians from their special position in Christ Jesus.  So being, from one moment to the next, a servant of God becomes an agent of the devil and begins to undergo all sorts of suffering. However, he who knows his place in Christ will never allow the devil to touch his life, his plans, or his family. The secret is to cry out and plea for the love and protection of the Father, like David did.

Beware of the wicked person’s ways of drawing people far from the presence of God. Each and every wicked person has a power of persuasion and so vast an ability that even the staunchest faithful in the Lord can be shaken if they are not in communion. The secret for protection from these attacks is to walk in the Spirit. By walking this way the saved are protected in spirit and in truth. There is no way for the enemy to reach, touch or affect those that are guaranteed celestial protection coverage.

Always keep watch and pray; if not, the wicked person’s abilities will snatch you from your position in the Savior and drag you to the bottom of the pit before you even know it. Don’t exchange the promises from the Most High for the deceptions of the devils. Those that belong to god have defeated the devil’s capacities to entice and exasperate them, because on their surrender to the Lord, they were born again. Don’t shy or retreat from victory!

Avoiding the acts of the unbeliever is not a topic or matter for prayer, but it is more for vigilance. As soon as the devil’s presence or nearness is perceived, pray and demand that the evil retreat!  The saved have a place in the Son of God that will never be subtracted or removed and no matter how hard the enemy exerts his efforts to find error, the saved will never be found to be at fault. Trust in the declarations of the Lord.
