Blessed is the man who trusts in the LORD, And whose hope is the LORD. Jeremiah 17:7

They who put their trust in man are different from the man who trusts in the Lord, who fears Him, respect His commands and does not give up all that was promised to him in the Word.  The Scriptures reveal: not all that are from Israel are Israelites (Romans 9:6b), and by comparison we can declare: not all that say that they are Christians are of the Lord in fact. When we assume our heritage and its inherent duties we are truly sons of the Most High.

In the Church of Christ we find many people living below the level that He has established as a standard for His people.  As He promises to supply our needs, the Lord teaches us not to accept living at a low miserable level so that His Word is not scoffed at by those who do not know the Truth.  This does not mean we must live in luxury but yes with dignity and abundance.  This, after all, is the life He came to give us.

As an example let’s take the biblical characters, starting with Abraham, who always grew riches. This servant had made a pact or covenant with the Lord in which he would not plunder and take spoils from the people of Sodom so that their king could not say that he had enriched Abraham (Genesis 14:22,23 ). This is a pattern for us.  We must never be fooled by the lies of the enemy.  God’s people have their source of prosperity and protection in Him and therefore shall never suffer lack or want. Halleluiah!

In Psalm 23, God used David to say that He was the Psalmist’s shepherd and for this reason there would be no want or lack in his life.  Make the Omnipotent your source of supply; then need and lack of conditions to live in dignity will be left in the past and you will not let them come back again. Living this way you will not fear the future.  As the Lord has declared, He dresses the lilies of the field, feeds the birds of the air and takes care of us (Matthew 6:28). He certainly wants to take care of you.

You have to trust in the Lord and your hope must be exclusively in Him. To trust is to fear not for tomorrow or any threats from the enemy. Do not consider the economist’s suppositions or the increase in violence and sin, which come to us from all sides.  Our hope must be completely on the One who is faithful and fulfills all His promises. Those that trust and have their hope in God live well.

From approximately 100 lives that He took from Egypt the Lord made a great nation and by placing it in Canaan, He started a new generation of winners. The Almighty entered your life the same way to change your experience completely and for this reason you must never lose faith that you will be blessed and in turn also be a blessing yourself. Your hope must focus on the promises of Whom one day said He would come back to lift us out of the mud and mire where we live. Watch out!

Don’t stop the transformation that the Almighty began in your life; no doubt if you do that, He will be saddened. Be strong and firm and never see the circumstances in a negative light, but see them as opportunities and challenges to demonstrate, exercise and increase your faith in the Omnipotent. By living in His promises you will be the person God intended and planned you to be. Why not win? Go all the way!

In Christ, with Love,

God our Hope!  We are not in this world as aimless wanderers who know not their direction or destiny. We have You as our Guide and we will arrive where You have determined - in Your presence. May we firm our steps and pace in You.

We want to be blessed, fare well and be successful in everything; help us not to stumble on the devil’s lies but that we may crush them under our feet and render to You all praise. Your hand will always keep us enabled.

That all our battles may be with absolute trust in You. Our hope is placed in this promise; that one day You will return from Heaven and take us home to be with You eternally. We thank You Lord for the Love that You and only You can give us. Amen!
