But when he saw that the wind was boisterous, he was afraid; and beginning to sink he cried out, saying, “Lord, save me!” Matthew 14.30

The only way that we go through the problems that come on our daily life is by faith. Facing battles and being victorious are attitudes that prove how much we are obedient to the Lord. God is not surprised with the struggles that we are going through; He has already provided everything we need in order to be victorious. Therefore, He leads us to navigate in seas that sometimes become dangerous; however, we only need to follow His instructions and we will arrive safely in our appointed destiny.

The Master made the disciples enter in the boat and go to the other margin while He took leave of the crowds. We may not understand what the Lord does, but we should never question why He has put us in a specific place or family, or allowed something to happen to us. After all, He knows all things, and since he loves us, many times he prepares us in such a way that we do not know that it is the best for us. Believe that the Holy Spirit knows how to give you the necessary orientations.

Never refuse any order from the Most High, for undoubtedly, when He orders you something, He will teach you an important lesson. The saved ones must learn with those who served God in the past. They knew how to be content both in times of abundance and of scarcity, because they had one sole purpose: to do the divine will. The same feeling must exist in us; in such a way, we will please the Lord fully and in all things.

Never scream in fear if a “ghost” shows up in front of you. In fact, this ghost story is for people who have not yet become mature in the faith. If a catastrophe comes over the sea, and if you are in it, do not be desperate, for the Lord will give a solution. If something sad happens in your marriage, or in any other area of your life, be firm and continue believing in the Lord, because the end of all things will be wonderful.

Peter walked over the waters while he acted by faith. However, when he observed the strong winds and the stilted waters, he was afraid that he could die, and started sinking. The secret is not to observe any circumstance. Whoever takes his eyes from Jesus starts seeing what the devil shows. At that moment, there will be fears and traps that will bind your faith and will hinder you from following ahead.

In case you feel that you are sinking, cry out for the Lord to save you. God will hear your voice as soon as you start asking for help. If Peter had tried to leave that storm swimming, he would have died. The spiritual battle can only be defeated with the divine help. Jesus’ hand held the apostle’s hand and lifted him up. He will do the same to all who ask for His help. Do not let yourself be defeated by anything, cry out for the divine help.

Jesus saved Peter, but also rebuked him. No one should take his eyes away from the Master, for if he does so, he will also sink. The Son of God had a purpose in ordering the apostle to walk over the waters, but Peter’s fear made him lose that great teaching. Do not be used to rob us from what the Master wishes to minister. We need all of His lessons.

In Christ, with love,

Father of love! How gratifying it is to be taught by You, for we learn how to do the work like Jesus Himself did. If we were ordered to do the same things as He did, we need the same tools and abilities. Teach us always, Lord!

It is a fact that Peter walked over the waters, something no other person was ever able to do. It is also true that, as he took his eyes from Jesus, he started sinking. However, he cried out to the Master, asking for salvation, and he managed it. May we do the same!

The important for us is to learn the lesson. May we never be afraid so that the traps will not be set against us. Our faith must be always active and ready to accomplish everything that pleases You. With Your lessons, we will avoid mistakes and will keep on going.
