Happy is the man who is always reverent, but he who hardens his heart will fall into calamity. Proverbs 28.14

People who lose their respect for the Lord and are not interested in keeping His commandments are not aware of what awaits them in eternity. They have been trapped by the enemy and, even if they prosper in this life, receiving the applause of men and living with plenty and in luxury, when they close their eyes and enter into the other world, from which they will never leave, they will see they made the worst decision.

He who fights to have a better life, not allowing himself to be dragged by temptations and dodges the enemy’s traps is showing his reverence to the Lord and, because of that, will be successful in all he sets his hands to do. Unfortunately, the world works quickly and has more success than the church; because of that, millions are being destroyed forever.

We must always revere the Lord. How good it is when this reverence never goes out “on vacation” and, wherever you go, you are firm in the faith and you have your mind set to keeping the Lord’s commands. Those who stop following the Word, under the influence of the evil one, and consider to be normal to make mistakes at times, they are already condemned to spending eternity away from the Father.

Decide in your heart to have nothing to do with evil, refusing all that comes from the tempter. Then, when your day comes you will not be mistaken. Those who believe in the Lord and obey will never taste the second death. Those who see no problem in serving both the Lord and the flesh, however, will see that they have done something terrible and will be lost forever because of that.

The Spirit of God speaks, convincing us and making us feel bad for all that displeases the Father. However, some allow themselves to be led by the devil’s illusions, but they will notice, when they open their eyes, that it is too late already. Many will not have time for the Most High and will act as the rich man did, who preferred to live a life of luxury, not worrying about his soul. Then, when he asked Abraham for help, there was nothing else that could be done (Luke 16.19-25).

It is about time to make the most important resolution of your lifetime. Find the wrong in your life and speak about it with the Lord. You will see, then, that this is exactly what you lacked in order to break free from the power of the enemy in your life. Those who hear the Lord find that temptations and other evil works have no more influence over them. You are very close to being delivered.

If you harden your heart, you will fall into calamity and, when you settle things with the Most High, you will find the good path. Belonging to Jesus is the most beautiful and correct thing you can do in your life. When you revere God you are delivered from the attacks of Hell. Rid yourself of all connection with the kingdom of darkness.
