But as for you who forsake the LORD and forget my holy mountain, who spread a table for Fortune and fill bowls of mixed wine for Destiny.  Isaiah 65.11

Whoever has already proved heavenly love cannot understand how a person decides to walk away from the Lord. Being saved and living with the Most High are the two best things that can happen to us. If the lost understood what happens with those who are converted, they would run to Jesus, accepting Him as Savior. Now, we cannot understand how someone can walk astray from the True Way.

Salvation is not a work that is performed by a successful preacher, when he convinces the lost to change their religion. It is a very complex process, in which God chooses a person, attracts her with strings of love, and in His mercy, makes this person understand that the door is open for her. When this person accepts Christ, God forgives all of his sins and writes his name in the Book of Life.

The Lord works a lot so that such a moment may happen. In the first days, the new in faith feels loved, freed, and with his answers attended. But at the same moment that God saves this person, the devil starts working to take him away from the Kingdom of Light. Those who have no judgment listen to the evil one, get defiled with sins, and then, return to suffering. The question is: why?

Those who walk away from God become subject to the sword, destined to be slaughter. God made everything so that we could be saved, but He was not given his due credit. Since those who are far from God, resist the voice of the Holy Spirit, and do what displeases God by choosing what he does not approve, they will surely be destined to eternal torment. This is happening with so many people today. Tomorrow, when they will most need help, they will not find it.

The Lord warns those who do not care about His orientations. His servants will feed themselves from the Word of Life, but these people will starve. His children will drink of the revelations of the Holy Spirit, but these people will be thirsty. The faithful will rejoice, having experiences with Jesus. They will learn their rights, but those who walk astray will be ashamed, for whenever the enemy attacks them, they will find no escape.

When someone takes the saddest decision of walking away from the Spring of living waters, he opens himself to the evil one, who will make him scream with sadness and howl with a broken spirit. Now, without Jesus no one can be freed from the kingdom of evil. The firm in the faith will sing, for their hearts are glad and ready to be used.

Those who walk astray will leave their name as a curse to the chosen of the Lord (Is 65.15a). God affirms that they will prove the second death (Rv 21.8), since they chose to be far from Him. Now, the faithful servants will be called by the Most High by another name. They will be always like stars, and their light shall be like the brightness of the heavens. Belonging to the Lord is worth it, now and always.

In Christ, with love,

Eternal and loving Father! We cannot understand why someone decides to abandon You and be at the evil one’s disposal. Undoubtedly, those who do so make the saddest decision. As for us, we want to be more and more in Your presence and do Your will.

What waits for those who walk astray is terrible. The person who loves the curse will be filled with it and will not be able to get rid of it. Those who love You, seek You, and bow before Your will, will always sing of joy. They will have the power to defeat the enemy.

It is time to eat and not starve, of drinking and not being thirsty, of rejoicing because Jesus will visit us and help us to fulfill Your commandments. Now, accept our thank You very much, and since You are love, help us to recover those who have walked astray.
