Again I say to you that if two of you agree on earth concerning anything that they ask, it will be done for them by My Father in heaven. Matthew 18.19

Jesus made an important revelation with this verse. He affirmed that if the Church bound something on Earth, it would be bound in heaven, and in the same way, if it loosened on Earth it would be loosened in heaven. This is beyond our imagination: we have great power! Undoubtedly, in Scriptures, there is a lot to be revealed to us. Our part in salvation is enormous.

Since we are members of His Body, we have a greater power than we imagine. We cannot step ahead of ourselves, desiring to know more about things. When we have the capacity, or whenever the Father’s will is, we will be informed of the wonders that will surprise all the people of God. The work of the Lord needs us to live in holiness and faith at the same time.

Elisha could listen to what happened in Damascus, inside the palace of the King of Assyria, a place that was around 300km far away from Samaria. If there is need, and if it is part of the divine plan, we will be able to listen to any conversation that is happening on the other side of the world. What was written concerning the heroes of faith is a message that shows what the Most High can do for us and through us. We only need to be truly serving Him.

The Holy Spirit came to help us do the work. He listens to what is said about us and transmits it to us. He warns us of things that will come and reveals to us what we can obtain by faith. He is the other Counselor that the Father would send (Jo 14.16). The future of the work of the Lord will be beautiful, for He will not lose the battle to the enemy. The responsibility of those who do the work is great; therefore, we have been warned of the scandals that would come (Mt 18.7; 2 Co. 6:3).

As saved people, we must learn to walk in the divine atmosphere in order to resist the temptations so that the Word is not unfruitful in us. It is important to remember that the temptations do not only come with desires of adultery and fornication, but also with the fascination for riches, leadership, and ambition for other things. The pastors would do a great good for themselves if they considered an offer at a company as if it were an opportunity for adultery. Run away!

When men of God are mature in the faith and truly serve the Lord, they can be used by the Holy Spirit to do great accomplishments in the divine work. Thus, whenever they pray determining something on Earth, this will already be concrete in the spiritual world. If something that damages the Lord’s work is loosened on Earth, it will also be undone.

We need true servants of God in our midst, for His work is great. Then, the resources will come, and the lies will be unmasked. The heroes of Faith did this in the past when they subdued kingdoms, practiced justice, and reached promises. Prepare yourself to be much used by the Omnipotent.
