24/05/2015 - THE STUMBLE OF THE WICKED

When the wicked came against me to eat up my flesh, my enemies and foes, they stumbled and fell. Psalm 27.2

Those who have and practice their Faith in the Lord Jesus must understand that they have His protection at all times, so they do not have to fear the enemy’s threats. There is no way how a desire from the devil can prevail against those who inhabit in the Most High’s shelter and rest in the shadow of the Omnipotent (Ps 91.1). It is already decided that all who rise against the anointed of the Lord will stumble and fall.

The Christian should not worry about what the wicked say about him. They are masters in lying, but have no power to destroy us, unless we allow them to do so. The Almighty lives inside of us, and even if all the demons from Hell would gather and attack our lives, they would achieve nothing, for He who lives in us is Greater and keeps us from all evil (1 Jo 4.4). Whoever is in Christ is outside of the area of the work of evil.

In the past, the wicked referred by David were people that let themselves be used by the devil. In reality, the true wicked ones were the filthy spirits who dominated them. Today, the same thing happens, but the person who does evil to you should not deserve your wrath, but your mercy. It is good to pray for those who are used by the enemy to strike you, for many times, he uses them so that we may curse them, and then they would be lost forever.

It works in the same way for our adversaries. We know that Satan and his demons are our true enemies (Ep 6.12). However, they were already placed under our feet, and as they rise to attack us, we can crush them with a simple declaration of authority and faith done in the Name of Jesus. There is nothing better than walking closely with God, being guided by the Holy Spirit. If we act in such a way, we will never fail.

The evil one only invests against your life to destroy you (Jo 10.10a); therefore do not let any of his works prevail against you. Be watchful and use your authority in Christ. Whenever you feel that any attack from evil is coming, rebuke it in the Name of Jesus. Just as the devil could not touch the Son of God, he will also not be able to touch you (1 Jo 5.18). The position of a Christian before the evil power is one of supremacy.

If you firmly resist in the faith, the enemy who does any threat to you will stumble and fall. There is no way how an infernal force can sustain before he who trusts in the Lord and uses the rights that He gives. We have been called to be a blessing, so for that to happen, Christ gave us power over evil. We will defeat every battle in His Name.

The defeat of the prince of darkness is more than certain, for Jesus has already defeated him and left him eternally annihilated. Now you must only believe in what the Master did for you and demand the devil, with all that belongs to him, to leave your life, your family, and all your belongings. The honor of the Omnipotent God is your strength at all moments. Do not give up your victory.
