Stand in the ways and see, and ask for the old paths, where the good way is, and walk in it; Then you will find rest for your souls. But they said, "We will not walk in it." Jeremiah 6.16

We must examine and follow what God says, because all His words are true. Besides that it is impossible for anyone or any force to impede His decrees from being fulfilled. The Most High has not lost His ability of calling into existence things which do not exist (Romans 4.17), as well as prophesying. The best thing to do is to hear all He says.

It is not wrong to consider the paths of different people because, if the person will do that with an open heart to Christ, he or she will see that such paths lead to an abysm. When a person carefully observes the Word – the Lord Jesus – he or she learns that the Son of God is able to set him or her free from all evil (John 8.36).

When you study the different religions, you see that none enable men to be born again (John 3.3) and break free from the powers of darkness, because these are all human belief systems or they come from deceiving spirits. On the contrary the Gospel is the Way that leads us to the Father and does not let us stray away or be deceived. It is God’s power to set us free from all that entangles us and keeps all human beings in suffering and far from the Lord.

Having found the Truth, walk in it so that you shall be made free (John 8.32). It is not enough to find the Way, you must walk in it until you see all the surrounding evil destroyed and then make the right decision of being completely fulfilled. The Gospel alone – the Good News – can give you real peace and the authority you need to win your battles.

You find in Scripture the rest for your soul and the solution to your problems. Away from Jesus there are only empty promises. In other paths people will, at times, wish you success, but these are nothing but empty words. Self-help messages are no good when a demon is at work. At any rate, do not be mistaken, only Christ can make you free and keep you free.

The rebellious refuse to walk in the Lord’s path, because they are controlled by the spirit of spiritual prostitution that, as is with physical prostitution, will bring great pleasure at first. This initial contentment, however, is not the true and lingering happiness we have when we relate with our Creator and Father. Therefore, why trade happiness for meaningless things?

Without Jesus there is no way for a person to be accomplished or complete in their lives. Therefore, do not be rebellious, but, on the contrary, obedient to Him who created you and will make you happy forever.
