02/05/2016 - THE TIME TO CALL UPON GOD

Call upon Me in the day of trouble; I will deliver you, and you shall glorify Me.   Psalm 50:15

Everything has its right moment, even to call upon God, and make Him come into action to give us deliverance. The evil that surrounds you and oppresses you didn’t come by chance nor did it appear all of a sudden. Before the diabolic plan broke out, it already was being prepared and executed. When the devil is able to accomplish his intent, many Christians become desperate, just like the sinners do, and they begin to pray to God. 

The spiritual process to call upon the Father begins the moment we give ear to the Scriptures; that which we feel God wants and can do for us, in us and through us.  There are people that only wake up to reality when evil is very advanced in its destructive work. Although the right thing to do is to seek the Lord, they must do so with all their heart; otherwise, they will pay a very high price. 

It is very important to meditate on the Word. When you feel a fire burning in your heart, assume your position in Christ, and then, issue the order in His Name. The work of God depends on your attitude when you receive the revelation after reading the Bible or listening to the preaching of the word, for that is how faith comes. For with the heart one believes unto righteousness, and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation – forgiveness, healing and other blessings (Romans 10:10). 

Jesus only spoke once that He performed miracles, because, for Him, this wonder that delivers us from evilness was simply the work of God. The suffering that lodged into your life is like a shout of the devil that he has you in his hands.  The only way to get rid of this evil work is to believe in the words of the Most High and call upon Him with all your heart. If you don’t act this way, you will probably suffer great loss. 

The Savior says that those who believed in Him would do the same works He did (John 1 4:12); so, when we pray and nothing happens, we must accept the fact that we still don’t believe in Him. Enter into prayer now and confess your sins. If your error has harmed or dishonored someone, seek such person and make things right with them. The annulment of the evil oppression begins with confession and it ends when you believe that the Lord heard you. 

Therefore, if you are in a critical moment, call upon God, and when you feel that your heart is confident that you can act like Jesus would in such situation, and with all the faith you have received from the Lord, command the evil operation to be undone right away. Just like the Master commanded the storm to stop, if you too act in His Name now, everything will be solved (Matt 8:26). Why not do this at this very moment?

The purpose of acting like the Master would act in your place must be to glorify Him. Therefore, know that He is looking at the decision you are going to make now. What will you do? Let the devil destroy your life and that of your family? No! Be strong, remain firm and put an end to all that which the evil one uses to make you suffer or prevents you from being happy. Your attitude determines your happiness. Your dwelling in the Kingdom of God was offered by the Lord so that you become His happiness.
