And on the fourth day they assembled in the Valley of Berachah, for there they blessed the Lord; therefore the name of that place was called The Valley of Berachah until this day. 2 Chronicles 2:26

It is sad to see people who do not come back to thank what they have received. In my ministry, if all who were healed had been grateful to the Most High, and if they had been established in faith, we would have one of the largest congregations in the country. But, unfortunately, many people prefer to do what they think is right and often paralyze the action of God in their life. A miracle is not all He can do, but the beginning.

Ingratitude is a demonic onslaught on those who began to be blessed, like those nine lepers who did not return to say thank You for the cure of leprosy, one of the most terrible diseases at the beginning of the Christian Era. Therefore, only the Samaritan who returned to thank received his salvation. Many complain that, over time, they are no longer answered in their prayers. But they must know that the error is in them, and not in God.

There are those who use faith to be healed, but then turn away from the presence of the Father. Jesus taught that the evil spirit, after leaving a human being, walks through arid places seeking rest and, because he does not find rest, decides to return to the house from which he was expelled. Finding it empty, swept and ornamented, it carries with it seven other demons worse than itself, and the last state of that person is worse than the first one (Matthew 12:44,45). Watch it so it doesn´t get worse!

The army of Judah acted differently. After gathering the spoil, they went to the valley of blessing to praise the Lord for the great deliverance. I have seen people come to the height of ignorance, because, after being answered by the Most High, they said that heavenly power did not help them, but other sources. In Rio de Janeiro, the parents of a young man who would have his leg amputated declared that an evil spirit also collaborated to heal him. Then the evil returned, and the leg was cut off.

The servants of God spent three days carrying the spoil, for it was plentiful. On the fourth day, instead of resting, they thanked Him for delivering them from their suffering. Whoever gives a glass of cold water to a disciple of Jesus will not be without the reward. However, many people, don´t even say thank you when they are healed. Those who know how to thank will be answered at other times.

We must praise God for His wonders, not giving the devil the chance to return. It is not good to forget any of the benefits of the Lord. Even if we consider them small or insignificant, we should not conform to the lies of the enemy. He leads us to be ungrateful towards the Omnipotent because he knows that unless we give due praise to God, we will deprive ourselves of new operations of the divine power.

They baptized that place as the valley of blessing. You will find a new name where you will thank God for the work done in your favor. Always be grateful to Him and to the brother who prayed for your life. Do not forget to share with him the spoils of battle. Be generous!

In Christ, with love,

God of blessings! We want to turn many squares, streets and villages into places of blessings. We thank You for the blessings You give us over our enemies. Thank You for leading us in victory!

How could the people of Judah stand against those nations that tried to shame him? If You were not with them, nothing would have happened. They hastened to the valley of blessing to praise You. May we always praise You, for the glory is Yours!

Makes us do that which pleases You. There is no way for Your people to be defeated, if they act upon Your Word, pleasing You. Your hand be on those who love You and seek You. Thank you, dear God!
