03/03/2014 - THERE IS ONLY EVIL IN THE HEART OF THE PERVERSE

The way of a guilty man is perverse; but as for the pure, his work is right. Proverbs 21.8

Why does a person discover what the Lord wants her to accomplish, and then lets himself be taken by the demon of rebellion and does not do it? This person acts worse than a ferocious animal, for it refuses to be guided by the true light. It does not matter the status that he has. If his life is not guided by God’s teaching, no good thing will come out of his lips. Besides, whoever follows those who are far away from God, will eventually discover that he or she made the wrong choice.

There is no good that can come out of such a person. Even if he dedicates himself to do good, whenever he is tempted to do something that hurts or harms someone, he will do it, for what is in his mind does not come from the Lord. Therefore, be very careful with him, for he may do terrible things against you, because whoever does not follow the way of peace only sees his own interests.

However, he who imitates the one whose walk is perverse commits greater sin, for he is treading the path of death. This is one of the reasons why we must preach the Gospel. In fact, many choose evil for not knowing the Most High and the plan that He has for each of us. These people need to be led to listen to the voice of the Lord, so that they might understand the divine purpose.

The sign that someone understands and does the will of the Father is his peaceful way of living. In many aspects, preaching the Gospel is similar to the work of peacemaking with indigenous tribes. There are good citizens that walk through forests to find non-pacified tribes, and with a lot of patience, they slowly help these people lost in time and without any notion of civilization to let themselves be helped. We obtain an even greater achievement, for we lead non-Christians towards salvation.

Today, without much fanfare, there are a great number of God’s servants dedicating themselves to carry the Word to people in crime, in drugs, in filthy sexual acts, or in other wrong behaviors. Some pay a very high price for obeying the Lord’s commandment, but what matters for them is to carry the Message of life to those who are enslaved by the enemy.

Therefore, even with the risk of death or with any other sacrifice, these people do not give up and do the purest work that the world has known. Without a doubt, these servants are not looking for applause and not even for the acknowledgment from authorities. They are aiming at the reward that will be given to them by their Savior.

The work that they do is a proof that they are pure before God, and their reward will be eternal. On the example they give there is nothing that makes them ashamed.
