For in Him dwells all the fullness of the Godhead bodily. Colossians 2.9

Knowing Jesus is the best thing that can happen to us in our whole existence. He is not just one of the persons that compose the Holy Trinity, but is also the bodily personification of everything that God is. This is undoubtedly a mystery, for this powerful Being dwells inside every heart that accepts Him as Savior and follows His commandments. For this reason, no Christian who lives in communion with the Lord should be afraid with any kind of trial.

When I preach the Gospel, I have the conscience that I am doing what is best for that congregation. As I speak about Jesus, I put all my speakers in such a privileged spiritual position, that there is nothing that we can compare to it. The same work of God, which happened to the virgin Mary, who became pregnant by the divine seed planted by the Holy Spirit, happens to all those who attend the voice of the Lord (Lk 1.30-35).

What happens inside those who listen to the blessed Word is beyond human comprehension. Only by listening to what God speaks, a person may receive a faith that is able to move mountains (Mk 11.23). Those who receive the divine revelation of what is written have their lives changed forever. Thus, the old burglar becomes someone trustworthy; the sinner, a saint; the dying man stands up healed; and those who have hunger and thirst for righteousness are made full (2 Co 5.17; Mt 5.6).

This understanding is able to move with the hardest of hearts, breaking it into tears, and at the same time, making it become a preacher of the Good News. Everything changes for those who accept the Eternal God as their Savior. After that, if this new being is fed by the Word, he will see that what happened was not an empty and religious experience, but a visitation from the Eternal One, who chose him to be one of His in this world.

When Abraham saw the day of the Lord, he exulted. The vision he had was prophetic, the same that we receive when the Word is opened. Then, an incomparable joy takes over our hearts. At that moment, we are taken by such an exultation that leads us to tears and to discover the divine plan for our lives. After that, we are filled with confidence and power, we feel like our Master, and we are enabled to undo the works of the devil.

My beloved reader, do not be conformed with the religious and emotional experiences that draw you to tears. They are good, but God is not in them. The beloved Father is in His Word, with all the fullness of the Godhead to give you what He has promised. Do not despise His visitation, for it will change the course of your life forever. Do not forget that you are the receiver of everything that the Lord promises to do.
