29/04/2017 - THOSE THAT ARE GOD’S DELIGHT

Those who are of a perverse heart are an abomination to the Lord,But the blameless in their ways are His delight. Proverbs 11:20

The wicked in heart will never do well in this life or even after death.  They are an abomination unto the Lord. God made man’s heart, his spirit, to be His dwelling. However, there are those that invoke the evil spirits to rule their hearts or to allow hatred and other unclean things to overtake their thoughts and feelings, the true person, which should be the dwelling of the Most High. They become disgusting and repugnant.

If there exists something God does not like, why do it? It is far better to please Him so that there might be no hindrance in His action. Instead of breeding rejection in Him for you, would it not be better to generate joy and gladness?  Those that are upright in their way are the Lord’s delight and are helped constantly by Him in everything. Strive to have no problems in Your relationship with the Creator.

God rejoiced in Jesus because He obeyed in carrying out divine orders, was always consecrated, sanctified, and never lost any battles.  We can say that the Master never discriminated anyone but did good to everybody by taking humanity’s place on the cross. Why shouldn’t the Father be pleased?  Likewise, if you fulfill the divine plan, avoid wrong and sin, You too will be a delight in the eyes of the Lord.  Amen?

The Almighty delighted in David because he had a heart that was pleasing to the Lord.  At God’s first sign, David immediately obeyed His will. In David’s hands, God’s good pleasure was always performing good results as David always complied in order to not have any obstacles or impediments. Now, when someone receives an order from God, they must consider themselves servants and carry out the instructions fully with all the determination and power that God had given them.

David was like a shepherd for Israel as he was always seeking the Most High in favor of the people and did all he could to protect them according to divine purpose. God saves, delivers and prepares us to act the same in favor of someone who doesn’t know Him. But if we hold other things as more important to talk about than Jesus Christ, we certainly will allow the enemy to invade our hearts and spread the chaff amongst us. Never be drawn into temptation.

Abraham subjected himself to God’s will when he was called to leave his land and proceed to an unknown place that God would show him.  He spent most of his life looking for a city that had been planned and built by God, but never found it. However he never gave up or said that the search was useless or that he would never find it. After he died he found it and will be there forever and ever!  It paid off!

Paul, the apostle, served the Lord where the Gospel had never reached before, suffering greatly. However he rejoiced in his suffering because it served the will of God.  May the Almighty’s heart always keep you in high esteem. You understood His plan and invited Him to be Your God and Lord today and forever. Now that is really living!

In Christ, with Love,

Oh God! What a pleasure it is to have You in our hearts, filling our lives with good things, protecting us, directing us, guiding us, quenching our thirst and satisfying our hunger. Today we can call you Father.

Why make ourselves abominable to You if You are the only God and Lord?  You are Love and deal with us kind and faithfully. That we may never have a wicked heart or be involved in any way with evil works. We love you because you loved us first.

Rather one thousand times strive to  be perfect in our path and be Your joy, than be repugnant. Your love is much more preferable than the abomination You feel towards those that have no place for You in their hearts. Our greatest joy is to live in peace with You, receiving Your love, and being useful in Your plan.
