How long, O you sons of men, will you turn my glory to shame? How long will you love worthlessness and seek falsehood? (Selah) Psalm 4.2

Mankind has chosen the way of suffering, even though it desires to be healed. Instead of seeking its Creator, it attempts to find a false or deceiving breach to be able to say that God is a liar, that He does not exist, and that He is not who He says He is. Why? Is it not already proven that the Lord is good, the devil a liar, and that is not worth it to despise the Word of God?

Jesus came to demonstrate us what the glory of the Father can do in man’s favor. He gave us amazing examples of the Lord’s intervention in our world, and one of His teachings was that if we believe, we will see the glory of God (Jo 11.40). However, how can someone believe if he is seeking glory for someone other than God? It is necessary to be closed to the proposals from this world and believe in what the Most High tells us.

There are some religious wise people that have not been born again, and have not been given the conditions to understand the divine revelation. These people live on the edge of God’s eternal plan. They create rules that have nothing to do with the Truth, invent stories that are the product of unregenerate minds, and lay heavy burdens for people to carry (Mt 23. 2-4). By doing so, these people achieve nothing at all.

There is also vanity, which leads some people to spend a large amount of money with jewelry and other goods, investing little in the salvation of souls and in the treasure that lasts for eternity (Mt 6.19-21). Many times, these people spend more in good food than in what they offer to the house of God. Vanity makes people seek new love affairs, even though they know that adultery will lead them to the eternal torment.

If you want to be victorious, do what the Bible tells. Flee from sin and temptations, and live the adventure of obeying the Scriptures. Act by faith, with certainty and complete trust in the Word of the Lord. If you do so, you will quickly notice that your strength in God will increase, that you will be able to do the same works that Jesus did, and that which caused you fear does not bother you anymore.

Lying is denying the truth. The more you settle with a suffering or a moral weakness, thinking that there is no more way out, you are lying, loving these lies, and doing the will of the greatest liar. Jesus said that He who believed in Him, “though he may die, he shall live” (Jo 11.25). Therefore, have good sense, stand up with your capacity to believe, and put an end to all the operation of the kingdom of darkness in your life.
