Comfort, yes, comfort My people! Says your God. Speak comfort to Jerusalem, and cry out to her, that her warfare is ended, that her iniquity is pardoned; for she has received from the LORD’s hand double for all her sins. Isaiah 40.1,2

The command of the Lord is that His people be comfort, which, in biblical language, means giving an end to all sufferings the servants of God go through. On the Father’s side, there is no reason for the saved lives to live under the enemy’s attack; on our side, there shouldn’t be either. The truth is that what is missing is to search in the Word the truth about any subject and, having found it, believe in it.

The message should be delivered gently to the Church. The Lord doesn’t want His sons to consider that sacrifice is necessary to receive what is theirs by right. Well, it doesn’t come from the Most High the direction that the blessing will be given us if we are goody-goody, if we give something, or for any personal reason from God. The saved must be treated with sympathy and, at the same time, all they need to do is believe in order for the work to be done.

Since there is much false religious teaching, it is necessary to yell – cry out loud –, in order for everybody to understand that servitude has finished. It is not possible that the saved remain under the wicked one’s force. When receiving Jesus, we were delivered from the power of darkness and conveyed into the Kingdom of Jesus (Col 1.13). Now, we have to cry this out loud for the people of God to wake up and assume their position in Christ.

Iniquity put us away from the Most High; nevertheless, it was atoned. This must always be announced, since there is nothing else to be done about it unless confessing and receiving divine forgiveness. The idea that perhaps the Lord doesn’t want to forgive us doesn’t exist. It was enough for Him two thousand years ago when Jesus became sin on our behalf. So believe and claim your place in Christ.

For all the injury sin caused us we have received double anointment from the Lord’s hand. Before the Calvary, it wasn’t possible for us to come near God; however, now, with the death and resurrection of Jesus, nothing can set us apart from the Most High. With the new birth, we are completely remodeled in Christ and we are forever in Him.

The anointment upon us is doubled. When avenging us, the Lord gave us back double the power He had provided Adam. Now, we can cast out demons, have the privilege to command what the Bible announces and demand the exit of any microscopic life that can cause illness in us. With this double anointment, we should do double of what we could originally do.
