If we live in the Spirit, let us also walk in the Spirit. Galatians 5.25

Everyone who is saved has already crucified the flesh with its passions and uncontrolled desires, and does not need to care or give attention any longer to the claims of the flesh. Those who decided to believe in Jesus can live the freedom that He conquered for His people. Now, freed from the hands of the enemy, we can serve God without fear or condemnation.

The mistake of following the desires of the flesh is enormous, for those who act in such a way are dominated by the devil, which has already been defeated by the Savior. Such a person is always open for the attacks of the evil one, who wishes at all costs to be the lord of his life, annulling salvation. The worst thing that can happen with the redeemed by the Lord is to be involved with the spirit of mistake.

Those who have been saved have two options: to walk in the Spirit, and not attend the desires of the flesh; or to walk in the flesh and experience all kinds of failure and suffering. The flesh is powerful against those who do not submit to the Spirit. Thus, it is good to be watchful, for the Scriptures warn that the curse without a cause is not fulfilled (Proverbs 26.2). Whoever does not obey the Lord’s voice is always stumbling in life. Decide to always walk in the Spirit.

To walk in the Spirit of God is to live inside what is revealed to us in the Scriptures. Now, He is the One who unveils everything that has been said by the Most High. To follow the desires of the flesh is to walk from one defeat to another defeat, even being an “evangelical”. In fact, the life with Christ has nothing to do with religious practices. It is about submitting to the Words precepts. It is impossible to give in to the flesh and be in the Spirit at the same time.

When you obey the directions of the Spirit, you experience what is best from God and He becomes your Lord. Thus, you will never be defeated by any evil again. Those who act in such a way differ from others in everything, for there is no rebuke or defeat for them. The children of God do not live with schisms or distrust; they truly experience the Lord’s promises, always being triumphant.

Definitively, there is no condemnation for those who are in Christ and act according to the Holy Spirit (Rom 8.1). Those who fulfill the Lord’s directions are distinguished as victorious. The saved watch and pray, and therefore, they are kept by God Himself, who is a faithful and righteous Fulfiller of what He has promised (Hebrews 10.23). Notice how you have walked, and if you have not enjoyed the abundant life, it is time to change.

Those who walk in the Spirit are used with divine gifts, according to God’s will. These people are a blessing for all those around them, and no evil reaches them. The immunity revealed in Psalm 91.10 is present in the lives of those who truly inhabit in the shelter of the Most High (v.1).
