Therefore He said that He would destroy them, had not Moses His chosen one stood before Him in the breach, to turn away His wrath, lest He destroy them.  Psalm 106.23

As servants, we must be in communion with the Lord, for we can be used to intercede for someone whose sentence has already been given. Our mission is to be prepared for the work that is given to us, and we should not do it without knowing our place in Christ. Those who are called and sent to fulfill a mission must be aware that they serve the King of kings, and therefore, cannot fail.

It is important that the pastors understand that their people are under their authority and care. The Lord told Moses that he should let Him destroy the children of Israel, proving that He respected the ministry of His servant (Ex. 32.10-14). Thus, everyone who has received the responsibility of caring for someone or for a group of people has the authority to prevent something evil from happening to his flock.

However, what seemed like a request from the Most High to His servant was in fact a warning: if Moses did not do anything for the people, the Lord would destroy them all. When someone that is under our responsibility is in danger of being struck by an evil work, we must prevent it from happening. The same attitude should be taken in regards to your own life. It is up to each one of us to preserve ourselves.

Moses placed himself before God as if he were a protection wall, which the Most High did not move away. The authority that is entrusted by the Lord to a saved person who is responsible for lives is enormous. Therefore, do not let these lives be easy preys in the hands of the enemy. The Word says that he who does not care for his own is worse than the unbeliever (1 Tm 5.8). Even now, if you pray and prohibit something bad from happening to someone who is under your care, this person will be spared.

A man in command of any sector of the divine work has the power to divert any curse that may come over he who is under his authority. Moses’ glory was that he diverted the Lord’s wrath, so his glory will be great. Therefore, always be in communion with the Most High, freeing yourself from all kinds of sin and suffering. Everything that is in you must bless the holy Name of Jesus (Ps 103.1).

The pastor of Israel knew how to guide the people in a wise way, sparing them. But what will people say of you? That you are too busy with the issues of this world? If you are, stop with it all, for everything that you build up here will stay here. However, the works that you accomplish in God will follow you for all eternity. Do not despise even a little one that the Lord gives you in Christ. Those who perform their diaconate well acquire great trust.

The proposal was an enormous test for the servant of God, but he knew how to hold fast and did not move towards his own interest. Do not stop doing what you were given to do, and even if God Himself proposes you something outside of what He has already given you, do not accept it. Always be a servant in all situations and refuse what belongs to another.

In Christ, with love,

Faithful God! How good it would be if all Your children knew the place that they occupy in Your Kingdom, and acted as true responsible people over the lives of those under their care. Then, your people would be blessed, and in such a way, the work of Hell would not strike Your people.

Certainly, Your servants must be in a healthy communion with You. Whenever it is necessary, they must act as true intercessors, and not as carnal people, who due to their lack of understanding will achieve nothing in favor of the weak.

Our flock needs us to be knowledgeable about our position of authority. You have attended Moses’ intercession and will also attend the requests that we make. You respect the ministry that you have given us. Moses did not allow You to destroy the Israelites.
