O LORD, truly I am Your servant; I am Your servant, the son of Your maidservant;You have loosed my bonds.  Psalm 116:16

In the fall of Adam, the loss suffered by mankind was very big and it caused great harm in every single way. There is no righteous person that can enter into the presence of God on his own, and stand firm in a position. He is Almighty, complete, holy and at the same time, inaccessible to common man. Likewise, without Jesus, there is no way one can challenge the devil and defeat him. 

Even those who are the most consecrated to God always have problems with temptations and other traps set up by the enemy in order to lock them up. Only with divine grace we can obtain power to stop the works of Satan and get rid of them. Those who follow religious rituals created by man and struggle a lot, not taking into consideration what the Scriptures says, do not imagine how much they open themselves to the devil and its demons. 

It is up to each one to seek in God their deliverance. If they do that wholeheartedly, they will not be confused. There is no way a person who has answered the calling made by Jesus, for the weary and oppressed to come to Him, and not be delivered. In Christ, all the treasures of wisdom and knowledge are hidden, and they strengthen those who find them and make this person victorious over evil (Col 2:1-3). 

A Christian with a problem is the one who does not know how to pray, who is lazy or does not wish to be what God has already showed them as His will. It is written that the blessing of the Lord – the revelation of His Word, His purpose – makes people rich (Proverbs 10:22). Thus, they will never be oppressed or defeated by the evil one. The secret is to examines the Scriptures and live according to them. 

When you break the chains of the enemy that tie you up to suffering or temptation, you will also cry out: “Truly, I am a servant of God!”  Thus, you will have reached the position of being set free from the evil power; thus, the enemy will no longer oppress you. Then, just remain firm in the freedom Christ gave you and get rid of the devil´s offers. 

If there is a filthy desire in your heart, or a snare that ties you up to the evil one, you will not achieve happiness and you will give a bad testimony. However, once you are free, you will naturally say that now you serve the Lord, and because of that, you can no longer be under any oppression. My sincere prayer is that you achieve this position! Don’t stop until you reach this blessing. 

The desire of the Most High is for everyone to be set free from the hands of the enemy and live a worthy life according to your calling (2 Tim 1:8,9). You will not meet the love of God while you allow things from the rotten flesh to occupy your feelings. God wants to see you free. Therefore, assume your position in Christ.
