Revive me, O LORD, for Your name’s sake! For Your righteousness’ sake bring my soul out of trouble.

Psalm 143:11

The psalmist cried out to The Lord for his revival because his soul was longing to have life again. And he was answered by The Lord even though he lived before the sacrifice of Jesus on The Calvary. Nobody really needs to cry out for such blessing today though it’s not wrong to do so. If your spirit is weak and if you feel you’re defeated, perhaps you feel you lack courage even to react then you must determine your revival because men were already revived when Jesus regained life.

Christ prayed for that work to be done for the sake of The Name of The Lord. Now, His authority was bestowed upon us and that’s the reason why we only need to determine and believe that our revival will take place on account of that so precious Name – a Name which brings glory to The Most High. The truth is that provided you live in communion with Him you’ll never be disconnected from God. The secret is to keep what you’ve achieved so nobody will be able to steal your crown (Revelation 3: 11).

We know that we were made kings and priests by Jesus. In His Name we must rule over evil powers which insist on persecuting, oppressing and causing us all sorts of suffering. Those who are revived might use The Name which is above all names and, when that happens, they won’t only achieve victory but they’ll be giving God His due glory. It’s a promise from Christ to fulfil our determination for our Father to be glorified in The Son (John 14: 13).

The psalmist uses the expression for your righteousness’ sake. God’s righteousness was made known through the vicarious work perpetrated by Jesus at his death. He took our place and paid the necessary price for us to be rescued. Whenever we take attitudes for the sake of the righteousness of God we’re actually using the strongest argument ever to defeat the enemy. That’s the reason why you ought to never be intimidated to speak up – use your authority to rebuke the tempter.

Don’t accept any sort of oppression considering that The Lord provided us with an abundant life through the sacrifice of His Son. As The Almighty carried out His greatest act of righteousness He laid upon Jesus all our sins and He suffered the burden of all our guilt. Now, you must avoid falling into sin; yet, if you do you must go to the throne of Grace at once and plead for forgiveness because Christ paid the price for all our errors in advance. He did more for us than we can imagine.

As you go for your ownership for the sake of the righteousness of God you’re actually placing yourself in such a position which will prevent the enemy from keeping on oppressing you because the righteousness of The Lord will be put into action with all its strength. The enemy only obeys those who struggle with all their strength as they’re based on the revelations they get from The Word of God.

The right bits of information were written down in The Scriptures on our behalf. So, there’s no reason for you not to be set free from any devilish sort of maze. However uneasy you might be feeling – if you pray right now in The Name of Jesus and demand the evil to let go of you I assure you that it indeed will. Those who take attitudes based on The Word get the same results our Master got here on earth. Surround yourself with that power and do take possession of your blessing!

In Christ, with love,
