What is this thing that He said, ‘You will seek Me and not find Me, and where I am you cannot come’? John 7.36

The Lord Jesus promised to send the Holy Spirit to dwell in us. This is one of the greatest blessings that those who are saved can receive. Unfortunately, some people do not open their eyes for that and, despite claiming to belong to God, they are not granted the fullness of the Holy Spirit. Without any doubt, in the lives of those to whom God’s promises are not fulfilled, there are many teachings from men who lack God’s anointing.

The Jews could not understand the meaning of the words Jesus was saying. The truth is that he who does not have the Spirit of God cannot understand what the Lord declares. Many times the person hears things he needs to hear from the Almighty God—things such as the way out of a situation, a door to a great blessing—but because he does not have the Teacher in his heart, he behaves as a foreigner who cannot understand the language he is being spoken to.

No word that comes from God is sent without a specific mission. The Lord would never joke around, making a promise to a person he cannot fulfill. Those who do not undergo complete rebirth—which includes the forgiveness of sins, baptism of water by immersion and baptism of the Holy Spirit—cannot comprehend the Word given to them regarding their situation.

All revelation is necessary. That is how the Lord God leads his people. Nevertheless, if people do not give attention to what is spoken to them, they end up making decisions just like unbelievers. Well, if we have the option to have the Light of life enlighten us, then why should we make decisions in the dark? There are many Christians missing out on blessings because they do not have the Spirit of Truth, which can tell them everything that needs to be told and guide them in all Truth.

Those who belong to God seek the Lord and find him. When they pray, they receive an answer and when they ordain something that they learned from the revelation of the Word, they see it come true. Our walk with Christ must be completely different from the walk of unbelievers. Faith in Jesus has been given us so that, through it, we may know what God has in store for us and enjoy everything that is rightfully ours.

The Son of God was in the presence of the Almighty God but the lost Jews could not get into his presence; however, those who are saved can. When Jesus spoke in that manner, he was instructing us not to let go of this blessed position of being where Jesus is. So many bad things have happened to people who go to church, sing hymns, and say prayers similar to ours; however, because of a small detail, they cannot get rid of the enemy.
