Nevertheless the high places were not taken away, for as yet the people had not directed their hearts to the God of their fathers. 2 Chronicles 20:33

To witness God working wonders in our days is like living more than two thousand years ago, when Jesus healed the sick from the illnesses that afflicted them. Being members of the Body of Christ we have the duty to perform the same works that He did (John 14:12) and by so doing, encourage others to seek the heavenly gift. The days of the ministry of the Savior have not changed, even though many things have changed. Believe this: He can and wants to change your life, if you just do His will.

If we do not teach the Truth to the people, as soon as we turn our backs to them in order to teach others elsewhere, hungry ferocious wolves will rise among the saved and destroy them. However, when the saved learns from the Savior and sees His miracles operating, this person reacts like a lion in opposition to its adversary and will not be submitted to the enemy. The world needs the saved to behave as conquerors.

King Jehoshaphat had many blessed moments due to his faith in the Creator but he didn’t teach his people how to serve the Lord and was reprimanded for this by God. What shame it will be to us if one day the Most High sends us some of His servants to admonish us for not having obeyed His commands! We have the Bible which teaches us to serve the Lord with joy (Psalm 100:2) and faithfulness, doing the same works that He did.

Preparing our heart for the Lord is achieved with plenty of patience and many spiritual battles. We have to teach the people how to win them, for the glory of God. When our brothers and sisters learn how to act like Jesus, a manifestation of power occurs everywhere they are present. In view of this, from one moment to the next, we observe the divine hand operating just like in the days of Christ on Earth. It is important to know that we are held responsible and accountable for the lifting and falling of many.

As long as we do not remove demonic thinking from people’s hearts we will sadly watch them worship the enemy and by so doing, suffer the consequences of the many attacks and rewards of the malignant. However, God will not be mocked (Galatians 6:7); so if we do not do what He has ordered will have problems to face. Those who think only of themselves and do not allow to be consecrated to do His will and be successful in Faith, will pay a high price.

Jehoshaphat could have lived victoriously, free from any reprehension if he had believed in the advice that he himself gave his people when they faced the confederation of the Ammonites, Moabites and those of Mount Seir. He advised them to believe in the Most High, for in this way they would be safe; however, later, being rid of those who wanted to sweep Judah off the map, the king didn’t even remember to seek the Lord and believe in Him.

Be always alert to see that your people have believed in God. When you notice that some do not fear Him as the scripture says is necessary, reinforce the teachings, because the more they fear the heavenly Father, the better off they will live. When the people let up on the love of God, they become oppressed by the devil. It is necessary to teach with words and with action how we should love the Lord.

In Christ, with Love,

Lord! If the people of Judah had prepared their hearts to walk with You, they would have had more of Your presence. In the same manner, we need to have our hearts lit by the Truth, so as not to give the enemy any room in our lives.

The citizens of Judah lived among people who would go up high in the mountains to worship spirits who called themselves gods. Besides not being this at all helpful, this would bring all sorts of suffering to the people.

Similar things have been taking place to the families where the Gospel is left to a second plan and the devil has oppressed them. However, this can be corrected; just by teaching the Truth. Otherwise, if not, we will fail. Amen!
