The battle increased that day, and the king of Israel propped himself up in his chariot facing the Syrians until evening; and about the time of sunset he died. 2 Chronicles 18:34

What hope does anyone have without biblical faith? It is hard to say, because this person has no conscience of the problems they will face for all eternity. By not exercising their rights in Jesus Christ, this person will suffer hurt and pains from the enemy since they have no divine protection. Christians have the power to overcome temptations and undo the dealings of Hell. There is a difference and a distance between good and evil.

Of what advantage is it to gain fortune and fame and enjoy the material pleasures of this world if on dying we will all find a righteous Judge who will reward each one according to their works? Why not live with a clear conscience being certain that on leaving this world you will be in the presence of the Most High? The devil uses his lies and deceptions to fool those who give God no credit and do not prepare themselves for the future.

King Ahab was a man of valor but not of faith. Though wounded by an arrow, he stayed himself up on his chariot before the Syrians but died at the setting of the sun. He behaved like a hero but this did not alter his eternal fate.

Those who are surrendered to the enemy, even though they do good, die for their country, help the poor, will undergo the harshness of eternal judgment when they could have passed from death to life and escaped judgment.

Why didn’t Ahab remain with God when his wife introduced demonic worship in Israel? Why did he not rebel against Satan, avoiding being used by the devil? There are many highly regarded people, well-meaning and full of Spirit that under hiding have been led to transgressions. Whatever gives you pleasure, power, inspiration or fulfillment, if it is condemned by the Holy Scriptures, will take you to eternal perdition.

When the sun sets for each life, all will die. What then will be their fate? Live every day as if each day were your last. Don’t be led by the father of deception but present yourself to God as an approved servant! Resist all temptations, doing your very best; surely you will not regret it.

Why displease the One who being Truth loves the good and holy things? He rewards those that obey and serve His will. In Jesus, you will never be overcome by anxiety and will never bow to the enemy´s offers. Undoubtedly his ideas and schemes seem good but in the end they will reveal themselves to be what they are: one way to destruction and death. Those that persevere in doing good will be honored and happy forever.

The fight is bigger for those who do not know the Name of Jesus and do not use it with faith. Those that know what their place and position is before God, with one simple prayer, defeat the devil and in the end when they need anything they will be answered. It is worthwhile to be a servant of the Most High. Amen!

In Christ, with Love,

Only God and Lord! We want to embrace Your precepts that bring us light and assurance, so that we do not live in doubt. Why avoid Your holy will if sin makes us slaves to the devil?

Ahab could have had another fate. He had strength but did not serve You. He sinned but could have surrendered to Your Holy Spirit. Now where is he to be found, not having loved You? Help us to love You!

Of what use was it for Ahab to remain standing all day if he fell dead at sunset? If he had loved You he would have been loved by You. So being, he, his family and the entire nation would have sought You and done Your will.
