And I will walk at liberty, for I seek Your precepts.  Psalm 119.45.

The solution to our problems is simpler than what we can imagine, if we are willing to obey the heavenly orientations. There is no way how someone may ask the Lord for bread and receive a stone, or ask for fish and get a serpent (Mt 7.9,10). Now, the secret is to seek the divine precepts, because then, we will receive power to do the same works and enjoy of the same attention given to David, Elijah, and so many others.

Are we truly willing to follow the Master’s orders – to deny ourselves and take our own cross, our mission? There will be no liberty if there is no obedience to the Lord’s precepts. Why should you close the door to the heavenly works because of personal, social, and family interests? After all, who chooses where you will serve: you or the Holy Spirit? In fact, have you been a servant, or have you used your faith for yourself?

The person who looks for excuses finds many, but this does not solve their problem or nobody else’s problem. When we bow before what God says, we come close to the one who can truly bring solution to our troubles, irresponsibility, and other mistakes that will be costly in the day of accountability. Those who love the Lord go beyond others in accomplishments and in enjoying the divine mercies. What do you say about this?

Our goal must be to walk at liberty, doing like the Master did. Thus, we will not fail before the white Throne. Jesus said that if we do not accomplish everything that we were ordered, we will be considered useless servants (Mt 24.26,27). Mercy, Lord! This is more serious than what we can imagine, but we should not give up on our walk. This must lead us to an intense seeking, in Scriptures, for the real purpose of God in our lives.

The challenge is set before our eyes: we cannot walk away from the presence of God, not even for a moment. When God wanted to rebuke Ahab, the king of Israel who had converted the Land of Promise into a land of idolatry and witchcraft, He did not choose a prophet that day, but one of the inhabitants of Gilead. Thus began the intense prophetic ministry of Elijah, the Tishbite.

Follow the orientation of the Holy Spirit. Run away from all kinds of sin, seek the presence of the heavenly Father, and then, once you are ready to start executing your calling, God will lift you up. See how you have lived, for if you are living just like you always have, you are learning nothing from the Most High. Flee from the passions of the flesh, because even though they seem good, they are worthless.

The goal of the saved must be to walk at liberty, which means not being in the hands of the devil. If any desire of the flesh is taking over your heart, don’t think you are special enough thinking that God will allow you to do such a thing. He would never do anything that went against His Word. If you have been feeling something different concerning the Lord’s precepts, you are already living under the enemy’s authority. Therefore, get things right with God, and then, walk at liberty.

In Christ, with love,

Lord! The life of the saved should differ in nothing compared to Jesus. Therefore, we must be aware that the enemy will tempt us, and when the time comes, our answer must begin with the same words as Jesus used: “it is written”.

May a desire of seeking His precepts come to your children’s heart, or else we will never walk at liberty. Lead us to understand what You have determined us to do, or not to do, because what we most want is to please You.

If Elijah and the others who served You in the past managed to please You, then so will we. If You give us the opportunity to walk in freedom, we want to make good use of this offer, and therefore, prove that we are truly free. Thank You, Lord!
