Your ears shall hear a word behind you, saying, “This is the way, walk in it,” whenever you turn to the right hand Or whenever you turn to the left. Isaiah 30:21

What a wonderful promise God gives us through Isaiah!  When we don’t know which direction to take, or the enemy is attacking us in our mind and our spirit, we will feel the guiding hand of the Lord for us to continue to serve Him and avoid any wrong turn off or detour, that if this should happen it would take us far from the good and closer to evil.  It is wise to stay alert for the Lord is faithful in keeping His promises.  He is the perfect Guide!

God’s word is potent and majestic.  When He speaks, He shows us dangers that surround us or commands us to withdraw as quickly as possible from the decision that often times has been taken at heart.  This mission of the Almighty in us is what we need in order not to fall into the traps set for us by the enemy.  By revealing something to us, the Lord commands us to change course according to his direction because if we don’t, we can’t be considered innocent!

If you want to stay away from evil, walk only in the path He shows you, for the Most High would not speak lightly.  His warnings have urgency, seeing as being God He knows exactly what is best for us.  Don’t let yourself be attracted by the false fantasies of the devil, because behind them there is the spirit of doubt and suffering.  No doubt every evil that made you suffer occurred as a consequence of a decision you took, a choice that you made.

Attention to this detail: the devil will try to steer you to the right or to the left, so that you can’t be forewarned by the Lord and thus the devil can finish what he started. Never be fooled by appearances, by postures of the devil who wants to make you suffer under him at all costs.  The Bible reveals that the devil’s goal or objective is to steal, to kill and to destroy the human being (John 10:10).  Now that you know this, don’t fool with sin, not even in your thoughts.

Jesus gave us the secret to success when he said he obeyed all of the Father’s orders.  We have to carry out the same tasks that He did, but for this we need the same directions and the same attitudes that the Lord had.  Christ always was victorious by His submission to God.  In order to be a winner as well, don’t be drawn to or tricked by the devil but lean to the words of the Almighty.  Know that to refuse the divine instructions from God saddens His Spirit, which is certainly not good.

In the end, those that rebel will discover they did not act accordingly, but before the Day of Judgment to settle accounts they will see that they inhabited sterile and dry ground where none of their plans ever prospered.  Don’t be a loner in spiritual life, but be a member of God’s family, surrounded by sound divine counsel.  If you are a prisoner in chains, the Lord wants to free you now; don’t pass up this opportunity.

The obedient saved believers do not conform to falling back on wrong desires that they had in their hearts before conversion.  Now as obedient children they seek to hear and to heed the Word that wakes their conscience.  This voice will not fail in their walk with Christ and will guide them to fulfill successfully the will of the Father.
