Then Pharaoh sent, and indeed, not even one of the livestock of the Israelites was dead. But the heart of Pharaoh became hard, and he did not let the people go. Exodus 9:7

The Lord had declared that the pestilence would affect the Egyptian cattle the next day, but what could they do?  Believe in God and shelter their animals from the pastures. Those who rebel and neglect the Lord’s admonitions will undergo grievous situations.  This has happened in the world and in the churches, because wherever there is no obedience to the Almighty there is suffering by the hands of the enemy.

When Jesus returns, mankind will be divided into two groups: those on the left that rebelled against the Word, which will march to condemnation and eternal perdition and to the right those that will be invited to enter the eternal Kingdom that was prepared for them since the world was founded.  Nevertheless, many although led as children by their parents to church and to God no longer follow the Lord and still make little of His warnings.

To be included in the group that will be to the left of the Master, sufficient it is to not repent and not want to be a part of the Kingdom of Heaven, remaining excluded from eternal life. Pharaoh seemed to have a mean beast in his heart which prevented him from recognizing the Lord as God.  Regretfully many people behave in this way to this day.  Some admit that He is the true Creator of all things but do not believe completely in His word.  This is indeed very sad!

Having confirmed that all the herds of Egypt had died and none of the livestock of the Israelites were affected, the king should have cried out for divine forgiveness and at the same time declared that the Israelites could go free.  However, as happens so very often, those who do not believe in God allow themselves to be carried away by the enemy and even in the sight of great evidence, still do not repent.  Those who do this live in suffering and will have eternal death, without Jesus.

Peter the apostle, on witnessing the wonderful fishing catch after obeying Jesus’ orders asked the Lord to go away from him because he, Peter, considered himself to be a sinner.  The person who has the fear of God in his heart knows he is in divine presence through mercy and enjoys the Kings favor and blessings this way.  Those who do not fear the Lord ignore His warnings and practice violence against their very own souls that recognize Him as Savior and proceed  straight to perdition. Mercy!

Those that witness divine glory but do not submit to God will be held more responsible than those who have never seen His power in action. The Almighty’s acts and practices not only help those that are in need, but go on to strengthen their faith so that they can be victorious in battle. To learn with Christ is to be certain of the best teachings never found anywhere else.  God’s Son has these teachings!

Signs were made for us to have life (John 20:31) Therefore, examine God’s intercessions and works in your favor and towards others. This way your faith will grow and when He manifests Himself you will cast out what oppresses you. Only those that are delivered by Jesus are truly free.
