Do you indeed speak righteousness, you silent ones? Do you judge uprightly, you sons of men?  Psalm 58.1

Even the most fervent Christians have sin at one point: do not speak the same as the Lord. This mistake robs from the servants of the Almighty the victory over the temptations and other problems. They pray in a certain way, believe correctly, but don’t notice that only what they declare will be done. It does not matter if something seems true; to assume it, it must be in accordance with the Scriptures (Gal 1.8,9).

The child of God who wants to be a winner cannot say anything other than what the Lord recorded in the Bible. Our words must match those of the Heavenly Father, and whatever is contrary to this has to be rebuked. There is no divine power operation in a life whose mouth only confesses losses and other negative things. Our conversation should always be based on what is written in the Word.

It is for speaking the truth that we put the power of the Almighty in action, not by prayer and despair. Therefore, do not have your lips say what is not recorded in the Book of the Lord. All the words of Jesus are spirit and life (John 6:63). What they announce has the power to work in your favor. So pay attention to the preaching of the word, to what the Spirit of God teaches through the Bible, and not to what some “wise” may say.

The danger of declaring what is not within the biblical revelation is that when we speak different from what is just, we do the enemy’s will. Now, no child of the Almighty should be allowed to be qualified as a servant of evil. If you take your filiation, the Lord assumes His fatherhood. Why believe in the devil, who is the father of lies (John 8:44), and confess what he shows you? Our word should always come from the Truth.

Jesus said He judged according to what He heard from the Father (John 8:26). If we also want to be successful, this must be our course of action. Like him, we must judge based on the way we hear from God. But the Holy Spirit does not convince us of anything but the truth. So if He shows you the will of God, why don’t you firm on it and profess? Those who confess different from the divine Word take a wrong path.

When we judge outside of the revelation of the Word, we are evaluating in a wrong way, so nothing good happens to us. Therefore, the judgment that we do will keep us standing or fallen. We know how people live based on what comes out of their mouth (Mt 12:34). Not imitating the losers is the best you can do for you and your loved ones. If you want to look onto someone, be inspired by the heroes of faith, who spoke the truth no matter how difficult it was.

There is no one that is allowed to lie; on the contrary, God’s people must do the same work as those who were before us in faith. The best example is our Lord and Savior Jesus, who never opened his mouth to admit defeat. Like Paul, we must say: I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me (Philippians 4:13).
