How can it be that there are Christians that accept to have a miserable life, enslaved by addictions and transgressions? This is what we have seen happening in many people. They do not pay attention to the position the Lord has given them, which is meant to last forever, and they fall into sin, becoming servants of the devil. The enemy can only do this with a saved person if he accepts the temptation. But why should we give the evil one such permission?

We have seen so in the life of Job, who had the feeling that one day he would be afflicted by evil, and so it happened. Now, we are a holy people, separated for the Lord, and for that reason, Satan’s will cannot dominate us. If any fiery arrow from the enemy has struck you, you are the only one responsible for it. Those who despise the salvation they have in the Lord are vulnerable to temptations, and are struck by them.

The enemy has convinced many people that their situation will be even worse than it is. In fact, they let themselves be used by Satan, and then, instead of asking God for forgiveness, they accept the lies of Hell. Now look: we have been chosen to be an example to show that it is worth belonging to the Lord, but have we belonged to Him? All of us must consider, every day, whom have we obeyed.

We are part of the people of the Lord in this world filled with evil, deceitfulness, and dirty works. It seems impossible that we should be foolish enough to shame our God, but we have been so. How can someone who belongs to the Father, not as a property, but as part of His own People, let himself be dominated by the things of the devil? My friend, enter now in prayer and verify if you have not been open to evil.

It is good to verify if you have lived as a people of the Lord’s sole property. If you have not enjoyed of this great blessing, come back running to God. As you dwell in the secret place of the Most High, you rest under the shadow of the Almighty. Then, no evil shall befall you, nor shall any plague come near your dwelling (Ps 91.1,10). If the demons have been able to make you suffer, it is time to change your life and become an example of God.

Do not let yourself be deceived: if the evil one has dominated you, if he has stopped your dreams from coming true, it is because you have not resisted him, and have allowed immoral, dirty, and diabolical thoughts in your heart. As a servant of God, you must let the Lord guide you and use you for His glory.

Tomorrow may be too late. Today is the day for you to experiment salvation and the other gifts He has prepared for those who truly love Him. God gives you the opportunity of changing, and what do you tell Him? If you take the right decision, the divine hand will operate in you and through you. Tell Him if this is what you truly want.
